Don't know what the rooms are like but judging from the friendly welcome we got I would imagine they are great too.Food & drinks: Great menu, we were a group of 10 . All I food came at the same time. Looked as good as it tasted too

On the A466. Friendly staff, welcomes dogs and children. Outside seating available and large free car park; make sure to register your car registration at the bar or you will get a fine!We stopped for lunch on a weekend. Pub was quiet but filled up around 1400!Food menu is ok. Portion size was large. The mashed potato was not the best and I feel, likely to have been reconstituted from powder. Otherwise, the sausages, fish cakes and chips were all good. The curry didn't have enough sauce for our liking but comes with a mini naan and rice which was nice.Pleasant pub. Would stop here again.

Very disappointed. Received a £100 fine for stopping in this pub?s car park to check whether the restaurant was open. Will definitely not be going anywhere near this pub in future? shamefully opportunistic.

I think that the rooms leave a lot to be desired staff did seem sympathetic although couldn't remedy the fact that damp was clearly there cleanliness wise not great a shame as location seemed nice yet another business affected by covid.Dont like leaving bad reviews but it clearly needs sorting for it to be getting reviews of old good luck.Rooms: Damp cold need updating and decorating ?

I guess it's your typical village pub (not that I've been to many of them). We parked across the street (make sure to enter your license plate at the bar), had some drinks (yay, cider on tap - unfortunately not a thing in Germany) and the Welsh Rarebit (another yay - first time ever). The service was friendly, the outside seating nice and the toilets clean. Inside it was rather dark and smelled like frying oil - one star off.

Had some surprisingly fantastic lasagne here while biking down the Wye Valley. Barman was nice and they have several vegetarian options, including a Penang curry and spinach feta which looked tempting. They have a £3 minimum I believe for using your card. Overall the people are nice, the food is good, the toilets are clean, 10/10 would recommend

Generally pleased location excellent food good value for money would recommend a makeover in the quiet months as certain areas are in need of TLC.
