Great friendly staff, excellent food, evening meal and breakfast, great quirky room but unfortunately I was not able to give 5 stars for this as there were big cobwebs hanging from lights and picture frames, It really needed a good dusting!!

Perfect place for lunch, staff were lovely, meals were gorgeous and plentiful, dog menu was perfect so even our pup could have a treat.

Was so lovely to see all the dogs in the pub on Thursday night, it?s a fantastic venue that?s very much dog friendly!!!

Very disappointed with the facilties here. We sat down to eat a family meal in the middle of the day. Our baby needed changing so we went to look for the baby changing room only to be told that they didn't have one! We had to go out of the pub to another premises to change our baby. Not appreciated in the 21st century

Very disappointed - we had booked online a few weeks ago as we are attending an event nearby. We booked a twin room with 'breakfast included'. Phoned the hotel today to book the restaurant and was told 1. the restaurant is closed that night for refurbishment, 2. there will be building work going on, 3. breakfast is not served on a Sunday as they are preparing for Sunday lunch. Subsequently cancelled our booking, luckily just in time to get a refund.
Is it asking too much to have been contacted by the hotel if they knew this work was going on? Poor customer service.
