Had two rooms in this stunning little gem. Spotless, super friendly, great breakfast. Do check out the decor in the cafe loos!Rooms: Each room is designed around a woodland animal, with humour and taste. Super comfy beds.Noteworthy details: Once the road works in the town are finished the parking alongside the rear entry will make it really easy and convenient to find.

Had a yummy Sunday roast, as we do there quite frequently. Food freshly-cooked, wonderfully presented, tasted perfect. Staff are so kind, friendly and attentive. Beautifully, artistically decorated.

GLUTEN FREE menu is amazing. The chef is Coeliac (like myself) which was a massive comfort. The food was amazing, such variety and reasonably priced. The staff were super friendly and attentive. I will be back!

Having stayed with you on quite a few occasions and never had a problem as everything has always been prefect I feel pretty bad having to give a negative comment. Having stayed with you last night and had a wonderful stay until breakfast. Went down for breakfast sat down and a very nice lady from the kitchen said I'll take your order as the other lady was busy with other guests talking and serving drinks. So great we had orange juice and breakfast arrived in no time at all . Fab but after the breakfast was put down on the table the lady returned to the kitchen and rightly so as she was cooking. We were left with no offer of hot drinks or any condiments, the lady who normally sees to the front of house part was more than happy to offer the other guests everything they needed and was so busy talking and serving the others we sadly had been forgotten, we couldn't just interrupt her as she was in full conversation with others, so we left and went back to our room for a cuppa before we left.

Visiting Monmouth for the day, so we make a habit of finding somewhere local to try and what an absolute cracker of a place we picked. We arrived at the end of a busy lunch time, where shown to a table quickly, order was taken after we had warmed up and arrived within 10 minutes. The filled baguettes ( my go to when out ) where the absolute best I have ever had, tasty and full of food, but the bread was just as tasty, it came with a really nice salad and a good portion of french fries, hot and tasty. We could not fault the food, service or ambiance. Try it, you will not be dissapointed

We went to creates today for sunday lunch ,5 of us and what a lovelly lunch it was too!Everything on our plates,from the lamb,beef,homemade yorkshires and roasted vegetables were absolutly delicious and cooked beautifully.Next time we visit our daughter in monmouth we will book there again .Also the staff were fab,nothing was to much trouble for them and even though it was busy there they took time to chat and kept checking that everything was ok with our meals.Would highly recommend .

My partner & I enjoyed a one night stay at Creates for a little birthday getaway. I received an email on the morning of our stay providing all the information we needed e.g. where to park, how to check in etc., which was very helpful. We also received a courtesy phone call from them en route to confirm that we were still planning to stay, due to the stormy weather, which was a nice personal touch. We stayed in the Deer?s Forest room which was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and cosy, with lovely added extras like slippers and sleep masks. Our breakfast the following morning was delicious, I had the cooked breakfast and my partner had poached eggs on toast, both lovely, fresh and tasty. Service was welcoming and friendly. A delightful stay overall, I highly recommend a stay at Creates, we?ll definitely be back.

I originally had to booked for Sunday as the Sunday menu looked mouthwatering. Had to cancel and booked Friday before Christmas.We arrived to an almost empty restaurant to be greeted with sorry we are not serving (and they were turning walk ins away). This was retracted once they knew I had a booking. We were then told / advised you?re not having the Christmas Roast are you.We were given a menu I cannot find online for upmarket sandwiches Fishfinger, Halloumi, Bacon & Brie; these came with salad and a minuscule portion of chips.Had we not seen the roast menu or watch diners who arrived after us enjoying a roast we would have been greatly impressed.It was all very nice and the service excellent but not what we were expecting, and we left very disappointed would probably not go back.

Shopping trip coffee stop which was disappointing. Overpriced especially charging £5 per person for a minute pot of tea which barely filled the cup. Expressed my disappointment at the cost for the tea but my comment was brushed off. Won't be visiting there again.

Stayed for one night in "Deer's Forest" on the top floor of the building. Lovely room with comfortable king size bed. The breakfast was superb (somewhere that cook's the food to order and serves on a hot plate). Look forward to returning.

We had a lovely stay at Creates earlier this month. Room was beautifully decorated and bed super comfy (we slept so well!). Delicious breakfast with excellent coffee. Hosts and staff team couldn?t have been more welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond. Will definitely return and highly recommend.
