Just returned from a very poor experience at the wooodworks. We were looking for a bench seat for our fron garden and as we had purchased several wooden structures from woodworks over the past few years we assumed this was the best place to purchaser a bench. We found one that was on offer assembled with a note attached that explained the bench was available flat packed. We went inside the Zest display shed to find someone to help but couldn?t find anyone. We went to the till and the lady found someone to help. When she looked at the bench she said that this was a show item and the last one. I said that it was too large to fit into my RV could they take the side arms off secured with a few Allan key nuts and it would fit. She said for health and safety reasons they could not attempt to dismantle the seat. I suggested that if she could get me the tools I would take the arms off myself.Again she said that for health and safety and insurance reasons they could not give me the tools. She suggested that if I had my own tools I could then dismantle. How many customers carry Allan keys with them? I told her that the whole thing was ridiculous and to forget it and we will purchase from another store. I cannot believe what I was hearing and presume that woodworks are making so much money they do not need the custom.

We visited this café for breakfast and were really looking forward to it. We placed our order, which included 2 cooked breakfasts and a simple ham sandwich for our 2-year-old. After waiting around 15 minutes, a member of staff came over to tell us that they wouldn?t serve the ham sandwich until after 12pm, as it was on the lunch menu. It was 11:50am when the waitress came over, we ordered our breakfasts and ham sandwich just after 11:30am the first waitress did not tell us we couldn?t order a ham sandwich. It didn?t feel right eating our breakfasts while my son waited a further 10 minutes for his sandwich, by the time this lady had finished arguing with me she could have made him his little sandwich.
I understand menus have set times, but it?s really disappointing that something as basic as a ham sandwich couldn?t be made for a toddler, especially when we?d already ordered and were expecting it. There was no flexibility or consideration, and it made the whole experience feel unnecessarily difficult.
Being a cafe manager myself i understand menus have set times, but i would never leave a toddler to wait that long for something so simple, while his parents ate
Not the warm and welcoming service we were hoping for, and sadly we won?t be rushing back

We always enjoy going here. The garden centre has a fantastic selection of plants & for very competitive prices. The café is always busy, but the staff are only too happy to squeeze us in & their service is excellent. The food has been faultless every time & I'm pleased with what we've received, good size portions & again excellent value for money. It's one of our favourite places to stop for a light lunch. Ardderchog.

? Visited ?The Woodworks? Garden Centre for the first time yesterday?loved the experience! ? everything about it is great!
It?s definitely a ?One stop Shop? ? beautiful gift shop, plants / flowers and the cafe was perfect ? had a lovely breakfast? service with a smile.
The Garden Furniture Section was an added bonus ? unique styles.
Will definitely be going again ?

Lovely place for anything for the garden but the cafe is very very good .

We called in for a coffee and a cake. It took 10 mins before they took our order, it would have been longer if I didn't go and ask them to come and take it. We then waited another 15 mins for the cakes and again I had to go up and ask for our cakes. Overall poor
customer service. Very expensive for a drink and a cake.

Thought was quite confusing to navigate around. Eventually found the cafe and walked straight out as found the cafe quite disjointed. Thought plants were a little over priced too. Been to better.
