“(Under new ownership) We ended up going to this pub by chance as my Apple Maps took us to this “Red Lion” rather than a different one, and we are glad it did! The service was great, a friendly gent called Tommy served us and made us feel right at home. Refreshing to be served by someone who clearly enjoys their job and wants to provide a good service to their customers as it seems to be few and far between these days. We had mushrooms & rarebit to start and they were well presented and delicious. We had pie & fish chips for the main, big portion sizes and the food was hot and we didn’t have to wait long. The fish was super fresh and the meat in the pie tender. All round enjoyable lunch served with a smile. Would definitely recommend.”

“As post offices go, this one is good for posting needs etc. Helpful staff and plenty of room to do passports, foreign currency and the usual post office related things. Only one issue really, avoid the place on Wednesdays and Saturdays, it's Mold market on those days and the P.O. is full to the door at most times.”
