Had a great time meeting family in a lovely place. When we were there it had a chilled atmosphere and staff were very attentive.

Family meal for 5 , 2xsteak ,3x chicken burgers , 2 meals came , no condiments , 2more meals came with condiments but the wait now had first meals cold , then last meal arrived , 1x chips were under cooked , chicken was dry , 1 piece of salad on burger , 1x burger had gerkin other had none (steak) 2x burgers (steak) had thin chips , chicken had fat chips but one was meal had under cooked chips , really disappointing, not been for a few years but normal high standards have gone , a shame nice pub !!!!?

Arrived as a party of 5 to celebrate a 75th birthday.
2 vegans/vegetarian
1 onion allergic
Not much menu choice and when asked if a dish could be made without onion the server advised not possible.
4 starters ordered and 4 mains sides salads, onion rings and chips. plus one light bite with a side portion of chips.
The starters were generous the mains were below a standard portion hence additional sides ordered. All nice tasty food but not enough of it and the side portion of onion rings ordered were not edible. Large portion but the onion inside was mushy and the batter held alot of water. Told the waitress when returned when meal finished as not returned since serving the meals and said the head chef cooked those. Offered to try but refused, as not edible whether head chef cooked or another member these should of been removed from the bill. They were not. When asked for the bill had to look for staff to request asked for the onion rings to be removed to which they advised as the food was delivered to the table but not eaten they would not remove the charge. Despite being inedible. The bill was paid in full however will not return . We'd rather spend our hard earned money on enjoyable food instead of inedible.

Visited again with family, unfortunately this time the 2 people who ordered lamb shoulder said it was full of fat ,so have dropped the rating to 4 star.

We had a wonderful experience this afternoon at the Glasfryn. Food was excellent & good value. Excellent service, even though it was busy. Clean facilities. Also great as dog friendly, plenty of space for dogs to move around (on lead), very accommodating with plenty of bowls of water, dog biscuits & additional homemade treats to buy at a small cost at the bar. We?ll be back again soon!

The food was no better than a corner street cafe! Over cooked, tiny portions. We eat at another pub in the chain ( The Pen y Bryn) which is 5 star. The chef at the Glasfryn should take some tips from the chef at the Pen y Bryn. The beer was good the service was good but the food was overpriced poorly cooked from a very limited menu. Certainly wouldn?t recommend The Glasfryn.

Eaten here many times and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Really disappointed today, when I asked for bread to accompany a salad, to be served 2 pieces of sliced white bread. Fair enough, maybe there wasn't any ciabatta or sour dough to serve. Utterly gobsmacked when I paid my bill to be charged £2.95 for it. £2.95 for 2 pieces of white sliced bread!

So glad I booked Glasfryn. Slightly more expensive but, wow, quality of service and food made it well worth the visit. Dog friendly. Good sized carpark. Stunning views outside and lovely interior. The staff go that extra mile to make your visit perfect. Thank you. I will most definitely be back for more.
