This is a perfect example of a weatherspoons. We know exactly what to expect and that's exactly what it is. Toilets upstairs a mile away, predictable food, don't touch the carpet.

Weatherspoons do have something of a bad reputation in some towns and cities, but this one was lovely. I was pleasantly surprised. Nice staff, great service, in pleasant surroundings. There for around 3 hours at lunchtime.

Has a great time in here recently?? good atmosphere and very fast service when ordering through the app.Update: Called in for food and a pint... Very nice (ham, egg and chips) but the chips could have been warmer.

Usually service is good shocking today, waited 30mins after ordering on the app to finally get drinks whilst the staff stood chatting initially before bar getting busy. Visited bar twice in this time to be told they were poured and on their way, arrived 5mins later.
