Really do like this cinema. Easy to book tickets, staff friendly, lots of choices food and drink wise and the cinema itself big screen, really good sound and for a change comfortable seats!

Went to see the film Oppenheimer last Sunday. The people in the row behind us I think took a three course meal wrapped in foil with them. Not only them but there were phones going off, people receiving texts messages all through the film. The film it?s self wasn?t as good as I expected the music was so loud you could hardly hear the dialogue. Spoilt the film. Will not be going again.

Service really quite slow, website not working as per usual, got message bad header, not yet got to book seats online hasn't worked for me.. staff could be more organised..there's always a queue.. though seem to do everything tickets, snacks etc.. might be better having more staff on tickets and 1 on snacks????

Decent enough cinema. Nice size screen and comfy chairs (standard seats). The only thing was the popcorn was stale, which wasn't great and I didn't finish it because of this.

Waited ages to be ignored trying to but overpriced small portions of ice cream. Toilet floors greasy and slippery. Detracts from the overall experience.

I have found, like most companies, there are good and bad staff and in some instances; as in this venue, there have been some truly awesome staff. However, I have always found, that even with the bad ones, that once it comes to patrons safety or enjoyment, they always switch to a more professional attitude thus providing an exemplary level of understanding as to the situation at hand.On very few visits, and usually after highly popular screenings are there not always enough staff to clean up. Yet having said that, is it not common decency to take your rubbish with you as you have to pass at-least five bins before you reach the exit doors to the car park, where there are also ample bins in which to dump your empties.I have found of the staff that they treat you as you treat them, and just remember, they may have seen hundreds of people before you. Next time you are there I suggest you offer to buy the staff a milkshake for their troubles, as I often do especially after either a hot day outside or a busy day they may have had with a premier films.

Good cinema lots of screen's & choice.I recommend the evening shows so you dont have to deal with all the kids making noise when your trying to watch your movie.This site also has a subway sandwich a McDonald's a Chinese restaurant & a Frankie and Benny's all just a short walk.It also has super bowl bowling just next door.Overall its a good place.

We enjoyed our time at the Vue cinema Merthyr, the staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were good and clean. There were plenty of parking spaces. We enjoyed the whole experience.

Clean seats upon arrival. I like the different sized viewing rooms, smaller ones so cozy. My only issue is I wish they'd have bins at the exits so that others can throw their own rubbish away. As per every cinema the food prices are ridiculous but that's nothing new for cinemas.

Although we enjoyed the movie, the first member of staff we spoke to made us feel very awkward and wasn't very helpful but the second member of staff was kind and very helpful. Overall it was an ok experience.

Cheapest cinemas around, excellent seats and great picture and sound.Our go to cinema whenever we fancy a new movie.Other cinemas are twice the price. ??

A big thank you to the staff at merthyr vue today. My granddaughter was taken ill and the staff were amazing along with 2 members of the public. Diolch yn fawr staff sinema vue merthyr!

Accidentally booked 5 tickets for Cardiff cinema instead of Merthyr, spoke to the gentleman behind the counter, who then spoke to his manager and they allowed me to transfer the tickets. Very friendly, helpful and efficient service. Also a very clean cinema
