Staff are helpful but sometimes vague. The hospital itself is a maze, not clearly signposted and a nightmare to navigate

What a shocking experience I had over the weekend, the back of a&e is diabolical 3/4 patients in one room sat on chairs for more than 72 hours, no beds on wards. Medical staff acting busy doing absolutely nothing. No privacy or confidential what so ever! Floors had blood stains and faeces on. Doctors/ nurses discussing patients medical information infront of other patients. Nobody had a clue what each medical staff were saying to patients. when you did actually see someone it was a totally different diagnosis to the nurse before. What a complete shambles it is down there. I seriously won?t be taken my love one back down there again! It needs shutting down! One doctor tells me that my parent wasn?t fit enough to travel to another hospital but yet he was fit enough to sit in a chair for more than 72 hours whilst you was all pretending to be doctors not one of you had a clue what you was doing. What a hell of an experience it?s been since Friday till Tuesday! I will be putting in a form complaint. The place needs closing before someone gets seriously hurt or even die. Total negligence!

Sent there for possible clot ,by 999 Monday 4 feb. emergency after arrival 2pm told there would be 6hr wait, A E was full 10pm arrived nurses told us only one doctor on at night. There was a 82 year woman still waiting to be seen her doctor told her to go to the hospital as she had fallen between a nest of coffee tables and where the bruising on the ribs he feared it might be a cracked rib and he was worried if it was it could damage a kidney. 10pm a nurse came around asking people to come back tomorrow and it was up to us if we did or not.I finally got seen at 2,30 am by a doctor and had test results at5.20am following day as for the old lady she went home earlier without being treated or seen the health service is a joke soldiers came in to be treated at 4pm and they also didn?t get treatment told to comeback and one I talked to believed ankle was broken didn?t get treatment. I phoned 111 9am told to phone 999 did so told to wait for a call back if nobody go in touch in 2hrs 2.20 mins later advised me to my self in hospital . If any body decides to read this the health service is going down the toilet get in touch with your MP government to complain soon they will be after your vote it?s the only time they are worried . Just one more thing a girl came in a AE about 6pm coughing terrible she had not got seen before I went Tuesday morning, what I did pick up and my sister who had taken me 2 days later her and partner came down with terrible coughing chest infections also my partner and I did as well and have still got it it?s now Wednesday 14 and still my lungs are bunged up well done nhs a breeding ground

The cardiology unit tells people that they open at 7am, they then decide to open at 7.30am there was a few people waiting outside the locked doors to drop off BP Monitors, staff walked by I asked and they confirmed 7am is the opening time for cardiology, when the woman finally arrived she has gorh to try and tell me it was 7.30am opening time and she's a manager, I couldn't less what her opinion is l, fact is she was late and all the patients had then gotten stuck in Friday schools and work rush hours because they can't be on time. All that needed to happen was a drop off that takes 2 secs took 30 mins. What a shambles.

What a shambles of a hospital I went there yesterday for a small operation and I arrived the at 9 o'clock after a ambulance dropped me off. I went for my appointment which wasn't until 10:15 am at the Colposcopy clinic. I was out of my appointment at 11:15. I was told to wait in the waiting area of the colposcopy clinic and an ambulance transport would be back to get me. They never showed up and I was being told they were coming. So I was sitting there thinking I was going home soon to find out around 2pm that I wasn't being picked up and they had arranged a taxi for me. By this point I was in agony with my belly and was very tired. A paramedic man who was very rude came and got me and told me to wait by the outpatients door and a taxi was coming for me. They were totally wrong no one came to get me I was still sitting there at half past 4 and had to arrange my own lift home. I never ever want to use the ambulance transport ever again as they are not reliable and the hospital is not much better either they are very rude people working there and never any help. They only help I got that day was from the women in the clinic that were absolutely brilliant. I suffer with very bad anxiety and was left in hell of a mess outside the hospital
