I work at a local shop in Merthyr we use this post office daily for various services including banking and for change etc. While wait for my turn at the counter I have observed that the staff are friendly and give assitance and advise to other customers on the best method and type of postal service to use for different types of parcel/letter in addition to offering additional services such a the exchange of travel/holiday money etc. In a world when most things are online you can't beat the personal touch.

I bring parcels in a few times a week as I have an online business but I came in today with a massive recycling bag full as there were so many due to the Christmas season. The ladies were so understanding and helpful - they even suggested I come back in 10 mins to get the receipt once they were processed. Lovely ladies. I always feel welcome coming to this post office. ?
