Absolutely spot on, no fuss, no drama, for once an opticians that have no hidden extras or bullpoo ? I have what is called a complex high magnification lens where all other opticians have now decided that they can't provide a price for without making a phone call due to the difficulty of my lenses, I have always had this prescription since being a child of the sixties, hasn't really been an issue until this year, always been expensive but I had learned to accept the cost until this year when they seem to have almost doubled in price. For the price of one pair from either Specsavers (£638 for two), Boots (need to phone, possibly £450 a pair) Vision Express (seemed too much effort to do anything but shrug) and the independent opticians (£375 for 1pair but that could go up once a call had been made) visited Asda and I bought three pairs, two varifocal and one prescription pair of sunglasses, all thinned and all coated for a total of £220.I cannot fault anything with the service received

Recently purchased two pairs of glasses from asda opticians in Merthyr. Found the service excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, and was very pleased with service and glasses I received. Would definately return.

Absolute 1st class service. Everything clean and sanitised. Had my eye test on the Monday and by the Thursday they were ringing me to say my glasses were ready. Would not hesitate to use this service again. Highly recommend. Well done !!
