We have just returned from having probably the best roast dinner with our Son and our Grandaughter .
We booked last week and we had two courtesy calls throughout this week one was to explain parking , as the Menai food festival was on this weekend .
We had a very friendly welcome , once seated it was explained about the roast choices , beautifully presented and hot . Our Grandaughter cleared her plate . Which says everything .
Hubby and I had veggie option , which was a blue cheese soufflé , absolutely delicious .
We will definitely be back sooner rather than later ??

Every plate of the tapas selection was very delicious and something special. Service was very helpful and attentive.

Nicely decorated, we were sat upstairs. We were rushed to quickly put an order in which wasn?t great to start with. We had a selection of small plates & one burger. Burger was really good. Small plates were good especially the ox cheek and cheese soufflé. It was a little noisy upstairs and the sound echoed.

Went for lunch on a Tuesday. Chefs were outside smoking (and continued to do in between customers as it was quiet). Food wasn't freshly cooked and whole experience really disappointing. We visited previous site many years ago and it was outstanding. This wasn't. Sorry.

Not only were the serving ladies lovely, not only was the Sunday roast the nicest one since my mother's 40 years ago, I got a photo of Ren's signature?
Even the light shades are made of Angel feathers. Lovely restaurant.

Absolutely delicious food, served quickly and top notch service. If I weren't on a roadtrip, that's the place I'd be daily.
The sous-chef's parents are the ones who make the famous Anglesey rum too.

Me and the wife visited last night for our anniversary meal. Although the restaurant was busy not once did we feel anything was taking too long. Staff were amazing and very friendly.
I can honestly say it was one of the nicest meals out we've ever had. I had the surf and turf burger (highly recommend??) but also fancied trying a couple of the tapas dishes. Although it was too much food there was not a chance I was leaving any. Ox cheek, wow! Hats off to the chefs.
The wife fancied a mojito, after trying hers I had to order one for myself. We had a lovely evening and can't wait to visit again soon. Big thanks to all the team!!

Lovely, friendly staff is the highlight of Freckled Angel. The pig cheek starter was good. The katsu chicken burger also good. The menu is trying to be different but not quite hitting the mark.
£7.20 for a pint seemed quite steep for Menai Bridge. The offer just wasn't coherent. Thank you for the welcome, but I'm not sure we'd be back, sorry.

We had a perfectly lovely lunch here, three of their small plates between us was plenty and VERY tasty indeed. Can't comment on atmosphere as we were
the first in but nice ambience and our server was charming.
