We visited Beaumaris with friends for a golf holiday and fancied a truly succulent meal. It was at this point that we searched the local area for exactly that. I note that in the local vicinity, there were 3 restaurants that offered Chinese food. Elegant Chinese Restaurant from the surface took an early lead amongst our group with a 4.5 star rating, 0.2 above its local competitors. But as an avid take-away-er, we know this can often be subjugated to the ever progressing power of AI. For those in the exact same position as we were, look no further. We ordered £178 worth of Chinese food on a Wednesday between 7 of us and it was ready in 30 mins. Sensational. The staff were brilliant and even offered us ANOTHER complementary bag of prawn crackers - we took home 4 free of charge! When we got home, we were not disappointed. The food was piping hot, flavourful and cooked to a tier of excellence. We were left filled in heart, stomach and soul. A truly resounding success. Do not look any further. Rest assured any man, woman or child would agree. Do not believe the bad reviews, for us, it was sensational. I can?t wait to come back and visit again. All the best.

The person at the till was quite rude, and the food was mediocre
(Thanks for the reply and I live in Singapore so I have had alot of chinese food but I understand that yours is catered for British palate :) I was standing close to bike so I would have moved it but next time I'll park it somewhere ??)

Went here whilst on holiday, friendly service, huge portions and top notch food. Shame we don't have anything as good as this back home. Highly recommend and if we visit will definitely use again!

I am half Chinese and my Chinese family and I agree this is the best Chinese takeaway we have ever had, and being from London there's been a lot of good ones. It's consistently amazing. The quality of the food is excellent, the portions are very generous and well priced and it's to a high quality. When my Chinese family visit we always have to get it. They can also make loads of there dishes vegan and they don't compromise on flavour at all (I recommend the sweet and sour veg which is battered and deep-fried, spring onion and ginger tofu, salt and pepper mushrooms and vegan chow mein). The tofu is silky on the inside with a firm fried outer, it's the best tofu you can get outside Chinatown.

Telephoned an order through for pickup 15 minutes later. No problems, however note cash only.
Chicken king po, egg fried rice and chips all cooked well and tasty. Good portions and reasonably priced.

We always use Elegant Chinese, we travel past all the others quite far because the food is absolutely delicious! Staff are always friendly, it is a popular place though so can be a wait sometimes but always worth it.
