Me and a friend had the pasta. Tasted like chicken cup a soup poured into pasta. Chicken was hard. The garlic bread must have been soaking in the pasta for a while because it was soggy. We were part of a party. The young girl serving could have smile or not pulled a face at another member of the party when he said his well done steak wasn?t well done. Probably wouldn?t go back.

Just had Sunday lunch here and wanted to review straight away. Excellent customer service, food and value for money. If I had to complain about anything it would be parking is limited but we managed.

Fantastic spot for food, drinks, and atmosphere! We had a great experience at The Corner House ? stopped in for drinks and lunch and were really impressed. The food was excellent, portions are massive and the atmosphere of the pub is just what you?d hope for: cozy, welcoming, and full of character. Note: unless you are absolutely starving, look at the ?small eaters? portion of the menu!
Wayne, the owner, clearly runs a top-notch place. The selection of spirits and draft beers is outstanding, with something for everyone. Highly recommended! Just a heads-up: it?s popular, so it?s best to call ahead for lunch or dinner reservations to make sure you get a table.

Came here for my daughters 18th birthday meal 13/02/2025, We booked tables for 22 people at 6.30,
Seating area was cramped and people separately seated couldn?t socialise properly,
Asked for a table to put the cake etc on but was told there was none to have (bare in mind there was a six seating table opposite that was apparently being used so we couldn?t have it but the table was unattended ALL night), after many times of asking we finally had a small table big enough for the cake,
Asked for the cake to be brought out as a surprise for my daughter only to be told NO as someone might have allergies (cake was in a box mind).
Birthday girl ordered the burger meal but whilst accompanying her nan to the toilet her food was taken away but staff were told NOT to take it away, it was mentioned 3 times that it still wasn?t finished with please leave it at the table!!
Staff not very friendly at all quite abrupt ( a smile wouldn?t go a miss).
Food was ok but so disappointed in the whole evening was a complete let down for my daughter.
