Great last minute find, in the heart of mid Wales.
Very warm welcome.
Bar and restaurant onsite, really lovely evening meal and breakfast.
Rooms old fashioned and quirky but very comfortable and clean.
Will definitely be back again fantastic character.

I didn't stay at the hotel however I went in for a drink whilst I was waiting for car breakdown service to arrive. Staff there were welcoming and helpful in my hour of need! Thank you

Used during contract works, prepared pack lunches when working away, my room was en suite, not sure if the others were, but bathroom had shower sink and toilet, all clean. Didn't manage to get back in time for an evening meal but the bar next door was fine for the one night. Would make a good base camp if you want to see other attractions in the area.

Just stayed on a rambling holiday. Hotel looks tired but is clean and service is excellent. Tasty and huge breakfasts to start the day, packed lunches, back for tea and cake at 4 pm and delicious 3 course dinners with so much variety. An extra bonus we were not expecting was clean towels every day. I would definitely go again and would recommend this jewel. Forgot to mention that there were about 26 in our group and we all felt we had a brilliant stay.

Popped in today for some lunch. The whole place looked grotty and in need of a deep clean. The table we sat at was very sticky so we moved to a different one. Food was ok with big portions. Staff seemed bored and appeared kinda casual about their work. It took over 5 minutes from giving our food order for it to be taken into the kitchen for the chef. This is a very dog friendly place with dogs on the furniture.

Stopped overnight during a weekend away. The hotel was old but had lots of character. The food was very good and great value. Breakfast was hearty.
