“We arrived on a very hot day after cycling over the Kerry Ridgeway and were served great coffee/cold drinks by Ray the landlord and Dan, great characters who also gave us some great 'directional advice'!! Great location too.”

“Quirky, friendly and wonderful! An amazing hotel with great host and that rare thing, a bar without blaring music. We had a magical time here and would recommend to anyone who enjoys really genuine friendly service, fantastic food and sweet and comfortable bedrooms. The three dogs were a bonus!Nearby activities: On the river Irfan, surrounded by picturesque roads and houses, very quiet and beautiful surroundings - woods and fields and footpaths. The heritage centre is in a fantastic church conversion, the people who work there are knowledgeable and warm and friendly.Walkability: Stunning river with quiet footpaths and fields around it. Lovely wildlife, sheep, horses, birds.”
