A beautiful quaint country pub. The garden is a perfect mix of full sun and shaded seating.
They don't serve food, but the day we went, a fish and chip van was booked in. Which were lovely.
I can thoroughly recommend the Cornewall Arms for a country visit.

We were walking the Golden Valley Pilgrim Way and sleeping in the Clodock church. We had a lovely warm cosy evening in the pub sitting beside a blazing fire.

This gloriously unspoilt country pub is as perfect as a pub can be. The locals are so friendly; the setting is so peaceful. From the large, beautiful garden there are wonderful views to Clodock church and to the hills across the border in Wales. The interior has all the character of an old farmhouse parlour. Crowning it all: table skittles.

Fantastic old-world, community supported local. Mostly a single room filled with lovely, eclectic collection of chairs, memorabilia and bric a brac - look out for the delightful sort of cookoo clock! Incredibly friendly welcome.

Step back in time, this is a pub like they used to be. No TV, no music, no food, but excellent beer served from a hatch. Bar skittles, darts and an open fire. Friendly welcome. Check opening hours, mostly limited to weekends. Great place to finish a country walk.
