Going by the reviews I was a bit nervous using this post office. The staff and the owners are really warm and friendly and professional - and I telephoned ahead to check what time the post office section is open - for some reason the Post Office website (not the owners / managers of the shop and post office) states that the post office section in the shop is open until 9 pm - which is clearly wrong - no post office opens that late - in the UK anyway. It?s the shop section that stays open ?till 9. Also they close the post office section at 12 pm on a Wednesday and on a Saturday. Which I believe is pretty standard for a rural community? Thanks Boverton Post Office - I think you?re great! :)

I tried to post a Free Postage parcel today at Boverton Post Office. The chap said he could not accept the parcel as it did not have a Post Office logo on the return address? He didn?t know what to do with a Free Post address!!!! I said I?d take it to another post office as he didn?t have a clue what he was doing!I took it to St Athan post office and the woman there knew exactly how to process it. She gave me a proof of posting certificate...... job done!Wake up Boverton for Christ?s sake!

Always closed when the website says it's open. Not reliable at all. Not really any point in it being there as it's a lucky dip whether they are open or not. I feel sorry for the lovely lady who works in the shop who has to keep telling people its closed.

I use this post office quite alot as it is convienietly located for me. There is a small car park outside that nearly always has spaces. The actual post office part is at the back of the post office which has an atm machine and a variety of stationary, birthday cards and a small selection of toys.. At the front of the shop it has varous foods you can buy: groceries, sweets, a small frozen food bit, tinned food, doughnuts, yougurts and lots more. I normally walk to the post office each week and buy my magazines and by the till they have small bags of penny sweets for 50p which I normally buy for my girls. Near the post office section there is an atm machine and a variety of stationary, birthday cards and a small selection of toys. The staff are all really friendly and often stop to chat to me. In the window of the shop they often have small notices from people that are selling things or have small jobs that they need doing so I always find mysef reading these.

A useful village post office at the back of the shop (which sells mainly groceries). The staff are always friendly and pleasant. There is a small selection of stationery for sale too, and greetings cards. It's not usually very busy because of the village location, so you don't usually have to queue for long, if at all. A small free car park is out the front.
