Best Chinese Takeaway for Miles AroundThe munu is varied and the qualitand quantity of food here is the best within the Vale of Glamorgan. ?????On the odd occasion I buy a takeaway, Loks Kitchen is always number one on my list. The food is simply drop dead scrumptious ?The staff are lovely too.?? There can be a little bit of a wait, so order on the phone and they will provide a collection time. So worth waiting for.? The prices are very good too. Better than the other local takeaway in St Athan.So, compared to the other St Athan takeaway (kebab shop), that's better food at much better prices. DELICIOUS ?. And Loks is far better than the Llantwit Major Chinese takeaways, even though one of them is pretty good too.

Easily the nicest Chinese takeaway I've had. My mum lives locally and I come from Cardiff to have this frequently (of course I also like to see Mum ?)The food is consistently of a high quality and always fresh and hot.Our favourites are salt and chilli chicken and salt and chilli chips. Have had numerous dishes including sweet and sour, beef in black bean, special fried rice and again, always so delicious.Worth the 40 minute drive every week ?

Good Points;Food consistently very goodFriendly telephone serviceBad Points;Extortionate price increasesUninviting and cold premisesIncreased waiting timesSuggestions;For the increasing waiting times for customers sat around (1 hour on my last visit) please heat the customer waiting area with the radiators that you have and some music to give ambience.Give back to the community and give the premises a long overdue cosmetic uplift. It looks very scruffy.

Always a great meal from here. Staff are very friendly and never have to wait too long (especially when ordering ahead for collection). Would definitely recommend a visit.Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian options.
