“After a 20 mile walk along the south Wales coastal path, we were soaked to the skin and freezing cold. We came into Llantwit Major with 2 hours to wait for our bus back to Ogmore by Sea as it was late on a Sunday. As we walked past the White Lion we decided to call in just to have a quick drink and stay warm. We were met by a few friendly locals and bar staff who made us really welcome. We sat by the roaring log fire and had a few drinks, chatting to the locals. Such an oasis for us after a tiring day. Thank you for your great beer, hot fire and lovely welcome.”
