Took my company vehicle in for MOT. Staff were very efficient, and most importantly very friendly. I was looked after well by Angharad. I would strongly recommend their services.

I can only talk from my own experience.I took my car in for a wheel bearing change. (I had the other side done at a different garage the previous week).Fast forward a few weeks and I was working a quiet night shift at a military fire station. I decided to put some new brake discs on as I had a slightly warped drivers side. I took the wheel off and noticed the axle nut had been re-used and re-staked. Not great as I'm now unsure if it's torqued to factory spec or not? I took a caliper mounting bolt off and found it was barely wrist tight and noted that the bolt had no blue lock tight (something I always use and had used previous).I continued to do the opposite side where I had the first bearing done at a different garage. Brand new axle nut and all bolts tight and thread locked in.I called them up and explained what happened but they didn't seem that interested. If you have any mechanical knowledge or ability , I'd suggest Quality Checking the work after.I am one to do absolutely any job I can and avoid trusting mechanics for multiple reasons over the years with my cars or motorbike. This is just another example.

Took my car to town garage for dual mass fly wheel and clutch..they explained everything in detail and carried out the work which iam very pleased about..Friendly knowledgeable receptionist (Angharad) and mechanics do a good job there ..would recommend.Gary.

I'm 73 and I have lived in Llantrisant for over 40yr and retired mechanic town garage ripped me off for £530 for changing a wheel bearing and way Iwas treated by the receptionist was disgusting won't go there again

Awful garage, if you want good service don?t go there. The receptionist is horrible and rude, no people skills & rips people off! I have been threatened with the police even though they had my car. They wouldn't do any work on it so couldn't get it moved for someone else to work on it. Altogether i have paid out £2,600. They sent my turbo off and won?t get it back for me, all she had to say was the turbos just gone and warrenty would of paid out, but she said 'she didn?t feel like it'?

Wow! If i could give 0 stars I would, this garage doesn?t even deserve 1. My car broke down and was taken to this garage as an approved RAC garage. I took the keys down the following day and asked simple questions just for my own clarity and the receptionist answered me with so much attitude as if I should know these things. Questions like how much labour per hour (i was told £70) and how much is the part roughly. The garage didn?t even begin to investigate the issue for over 2 weeks and kept saying ?well it?s come in as a breakdown and not booked in?. On the day we got the invoice I couldn?t quite understand how it was around £500 more than what I was calculating with the labour costs & part, and phoned to ask for an explanation. The receptionist quickly got defensive and said ?well if you actually read the invoice you?d see; I?ve already sent it once? again just no customer service skills at all. You?d think they would treat you with a bit of respect considering you?re handing over large payments to keep their company going. I said i feel like it could of been more clear on the first day when she said labour £70 but in fact it was £84 (because of VAT) which adds up to a lot in the end. She then proceeded to tell my partner she will not deal with the car until I phone to apologise as apparently I called her ?all sorts?. Little did she know my partner was with me during the phone call and knows I called her nothing, only asked for a clear explanation. If you are switched on and have any questions, be prepared to be shouted at and given no clear answer and threatened with ?if you don?t like it just come and take your car and i?ll recalculate your bill?. Ive never been spoken to in such a belittling manner, and shouted over when trying to have a normal conversation.The woman then said she would no longer do the work on the car (because i questioned my own invoice over £2,200 as anyone would). I was always happy to pay but wanted to know exactly what for. She later agreed to do the work if my partner pays and she doesn?t have to talk to me (happy days for me!!). As someone with a lot of patience and who has worked in customer service for over 10 years I have never experienced customer service to such a low standard. After agreeing to do the car, we phoned 1 week later to ask when it is ready for collection she said ?oh i haven?t even ordered the part because your girlfriend hasn?t phoned to apologise and we won?t fix it?. APOLOGISE FOR WHAT?? asking normal questions??We have now taken the car and had to pay over £250 for the car being investigated for the issue ONLY!! even though in the agreement the investigation is 1 hour labour (she decided to up that to 3). When i phoned to question this she hung up on me. This woman have said she wishes phone-calls were recorded, and so do i. To prove how unprofessional and manipulative the receptionist is. If it wasn?t for being a personal business I honestly think she would never last 1 hour in any customer service job elsewhere. So the car has been in the garage for 5 & A HALF WEEKS.. without repairs even started.. a £250+ bill and a lot of frustration!! Attempted to get the car back as constructed and they refused to cooperate with RAC and still think its ok to charge holding fee?s for the car every day but making it extremely difficult to get it back. You cant win!! RAC looking to remove them off their approved list and said they?ve never experienced anything like it.Avoid at all costs. Worst company (well receptionist) i have ever dealt with in my whole life. Please read reviews over the last few months as this is common obviously! Trading standards now involved. She will write back to this review with further lies saying i called her everything under the sun, when that isn?t even in my nature. You can?t even ask can you deal with the manager / owner / someone else instead as she is the owners wife so basically gets away with everything.Go elsewhere!

PATHETIC!!!! The owners wife works ok reception and she?s a horrible foul person who ain?t got no care at all, they won?t let you speak to any mechanics or the owner won?t speak, she?s the rudest person Iv EVER delt with, constantly lied and laughed at me when I asked simple questions, hung up on many occasions, Iv delt with hundreds of garages in my time dealing with cars and this is the WORST!!! By far I?ve ever delt with, she only in the job as her husband runs the garage! Refused to do work on car and threatened that I won?t be able to get it back, she said ?the powers in my hands and I say??.Noo! To doing your car? as if it was funny what a JOKE of a company, they have had my car for 6 weeks and she?s refused to do my car because my mrs questioned the 2300 price and she kicked off and hung up then demanded a apology and if she didn?t get one she would refuse the work. This garage (Angharad) has caused me so much stress and anxiety over the last 6 weeks that I needed to write this review, what I horrible person. Didn?t ONCE try and help, been without it my car for 6 weeks now I have to pay them £260 holding fees! Or they won?t give car back! DONT USE THIS GARAGE UNDER THESE NEW OWNERS!?.. OVERPRICED!!! SHE ALSO SAID TOWARDS THE END ?GOOD LUCK GETTING YOUR TURBO BACK? as they sent my turbo off 5 weeks and and ain?t bothered to get it back so childish and no care for anyone. Been in contact with a local garage who?s doing the work for half the price! UPDATE RESEPTIONIST (Angharad stevens) has refused to help moving my car of the property ?not her problem apparently) she only doing it to charge me stratagem fees, she?s also sent my turbo off and said she?s not getting it back she said ?good luck getting that back? this garage will be take off the rac approved registration 100% such a disgusting person to deal with.

My 2022 Vauxhall corsa had a clutch and fly wheel issue (under warranty with Vauxhall). Vauxhall told me it was a 5 week wait last Wednesday 26/7/2022 which I deemed as not acceptable as I use it for my work (driving instructor). My lease company found Town garage who I called to get the car in. Spoke to angharad who could not have been more helpful, was assured they would take a look at it that day. By Friday 28/07 I?d had a call to say parts had been ordered and the work to be carried out had been booked in for as soon as the parts arrived. Today 31/07 I received a call to say the work was complete and clutch and fly wheel had been changed.I honestly cannot recommend these guys enough! Incredibly helpful, polite and stuck to their word to get my car back on the road as quickly as possible! The only place I?ll be recommending my friends and fellow instructors in future! Thank you so much.Nathan

Poor customer care. New owner, got service history. Hides behind gdpr to even discuss an issue over a 15month battery needing replacement. They hung up on phone when mentioning trading standards to resolve issue. Total c***Add lies,lies and more lies - see their response.I bought private, so know the previous owner and his details; why would I ask for their details??? gdpr does not enter it.I suppose "trading standards" is swearing to a disreputable garage; I was trying to resolve them supplying and fitting sub-standard parts.All in all; their servicing, attitude, failure to respond to the issue, responding with lies and still hiding behind gdpr; shows exactly what unprofessional they actually are.
