Miskin Arms offers nice food, but given the high prices, I expected an exceptional dining experience. While the dishes were enjoyable, they didn't quite reach the level I had anticipated. Additionally, the service could use some improvement. I ordered soda water with fresh lime juice, but was served sliced lime instead and told that lime juice wasn?t available. It would have been a simple fix for the staff to squeeze the fresh lime provided. With better attention to detail and a more creative approach, Miskin Arms could elevate the overall experience to match its pricing.

Saturday night booking party of 6, service poor, staff not co-ordinated plus unfriendly, even getting drinks & water was an ordeal. No menu as such select meal from boards & raw choices (meat & fish is laid on an ice bar, but some items don't appear to be fully in contact with the ice. Seemed like a lot to manage properly! Large queue of people jossling to order in front of the icebar, with our table of 6 orders fragmented, plus lots of individual choices that weren't clear until ordering.
Atmosphere was very loud, had to shout, no place for quiet conversation. Garlic bread as a side came at least 15 mins before main dish was presented just wrapped in foil and dropped on table no plate (and was a meagre portion) ,one Salmon dish was undercooked had to be returned, serving staff appologised but no manager appeared. Overall (apart from salmon) food was well cooked and presented but lacking in something (perhaps side veg) & expensive as to what it was. As a regular business traveler would pay similar prices for meals in London or Paris get better meal & service, with a less confusing ordering system.

I was in the far park waiting for the pub to open when the owner or manager came out and made us feel very uncomfortable as if we was intruding on his land.
We was only early and was awaiting for it to open.
I was going to treat my daughter on becoming a teacher.
Sadly: we drove off and did something else.
Friday morning we was in my daughters little fird Ka.
Not a nice ora to give off.

Very below average Sunday lunch. So expensive and food disappointing. The beef was tough and overcooked, roast potatoes hard and flavourless. For £32pp you?d expect so much more. Will not be returning.

We were so disappointed with our last visit - we have been many, many times to the Miskin Arms and have been delighted.
This time , the Service was poor , it seemed that it was too much effort for the staff to bother to talk, except the general manager who was pleasant as always. We felt the atmosphere was non existent and the price of the meal for what we had was very expensive.
Sadly, that will be our last visit.

We came for lunch and all ordered from the set lunch menu (£19.95 for 2 courses). There were 4 options for Starter and Mains. Everything we ordered was great.
