We spent two nights here over a weekend in August?just under £200?and honestly, that felt like a bargain. The log cabin vibe was spot on for what the kids needed, and the setting in the village of Llanrwst is charming (and handy, with a few shops close by).
We had a cracking time?it hit the spot perfectly. If I'm being picky, the place could do with a light spruce-up here and there, but it didn?t take away from what was a relaxing, fun break.
Overall? Exactly what we needed and more. Highly recommend for families looking for a straightforward and cosy escape.?

Misleading Accommodation & Unresponsive Management
Left extremely dissatisfied with my recent stay at this property. We booked a two-bedroom lodge with three beds, yet upon arrival were provided with a small apartment containing only two beds. As a result, one member of our party was forced to sleep on a sofa ? entirely unacceptable given the circumstances and the price paid.
Despite contacting the property via both WhatsApp and Booking.com, no reply was received ? even after 24 hours. This complete lack of communication and accountability is highly unprofessional.
The apartment provided was inadequate for four people and had no resemblance to the accommodation we had reserved. No explanation was offered for the change, nor was any effort made to resolve the issue during our stay.
Given this experience, I strongly advise against booking this property. The listing is misleading, the accommodation was substandard, and customer service was nonexistent

don?t book these lodges I PAID IN FULL AND THEY DIDNT SEND ME A CODE TO GET INTO MY LODGE, this is a complete joke as we drive over 200miles for no one to answer the phone or email and this has happened to multiple people before. STRICTLY AVOID!!!

Stayed in the Mountain View Cottage. Great view of the river and mountain. It is a detached cottage so don't hear others. The River View Cottage is very similar in terms of location, it's just private. Few maintenance issues but it was a great price and great stay. Laundrette on site so easy to keep on top of washing. Bifold windows seeing the views and table for outside for dining. Good location.

When looking on the Hoseasons website I noticed this place, but it didn't look too great from the photos. But I wanted somewhere handy for Bodnant gardens and this was the nearest lodge available. When we got there the reception was shut so I had to ring them up to get access to the keys. That aside when we got to the lodge we were stunned by the place it really is a beautiful site with River Conwy running past our window and the hills in the background. It's also within walking distance of Llanrwst for the shops and pubs. Excellent value for the money.

Lovely river and mountain views, but not for all lodges. Lodges comfortably furnished and reasonably well equipped.

Booked a lodge (pine) and received confirmation that it was pine lodge. We received an email directly from the accommodation with the code to get in. Upon arrival we found ALL of the lodges had numbers on - no names, so we couldn?t work out which lodge was ours. After trying to phone them (to no avail) and contacting hoseasons for help (also to no avail) we were forced at 9pm at night to go round each lodge and try the code we received. Eventually, one lodge unlocked but when we went inside we realised it wasn?t the lodge we paid for, it was one without a garden which was a nightmare as we had a dog. This was so stressful and I still can?t believe they?d sent out an email without lodge numbers on. I informed them of this and didn?t receive any reason why this happened. It was absolutely ridiculous being stuck late at night going to each lodge in the rain trying to work out which one ours was. The next day, they resolved the issue and we were able to move into the lodge we paid for. The lodge we ended up in absolutely STUNK!!! It smelt like something had died in there. We had to ask for air freshener but she smell stayed for a couple of days. It was disgusting. Separate to that, they had no WiFi despite advertising that they have WiFi. Apparently it was ?down?? they didn?t resolve this at any point for the 4 days we were there. Would I go back? No, I?d go elsewhere due to the poor experience. It was really really disappointing and the worst thing was we booked this for my birthday.

Mould infested!
We booked based on the great reviews.
Word of advice. Book elsewhere!
There was no guest service whatsoever, reception was locked and closed, and no staff on site that could or was willing to help.
Called the number booking.com provided and got through to the cleaner who stated the room was clean. [see pictures].
After contacting booking.com and the main owner nothing was done and we were brushed off.
Awful service and unhygienic and potentially dangerous accommodation!

The room was lovely, superbly clean. Great location to get around some lovely towns and villages for walks.
Only a couple of minutes from Llanwrst itself, where there's a few nice cafés, pubs and places to eat. Haven't recommend Tir A Mor chippy
