Definitely a 5 star place and I think its so sad people just focus on the negatives like 50p for toilets thats fair as they need to upkeep them! £5 for parking, if you are not happy then park on the road! If you dont want to pay cash go to the village and they have loads of stuff. Like come on people its not that big of a deal! Anyway 5 stars easy!

Lovely staff, they are only rude to people who deserve it! Nice food and drink. Would return but the road down is a bit tight at times.

Arrived at the car park and paid £5! Went to use the toilet and found it was 50p! Toilet guarded by a turnstile wouldnt let me in and we had no more change! A lady overheard and have me 50p again it didnt work! So I went to the shop and said what happened! Well Mrs Po face started saying well its not the turnstile its the way you used it?? I said I was dying to go and had no more change! In a huff, she came over and let me in and gave me 50p back! We walked the 2 mins to the falls, and went back to get some tea and a bit of lunch, nope the card machine isnt working! So we left! No signs to say where else you can walk, no kindness, nothing! Fantastic waterfall but the pay and get lost vibe is the first Ive experienced and we live half an hour away! Make sure if you go you take cash, or a packed lunch! Not that theres anywhere to eat one! Oh and if your dog poops and you pick it up theres no bin to put it in and you have to take it home!! Great day out!! Not!!

Water fall is unbelievable but the staff in the tearooms are rude very un welcoming no card machine expected to drive miles down to village with a toddler an then to return with cash food portions poor for the price is ridiculous nothing for young children to eat apart from crisp no chips of a week day? Very miserable staff we couldn?t wait to leave left us feeling really uncomfortable I would recommend after visiting water fall to go the village for food as lovely restaurant and take out food avoid tearooms charges to go the toilet

Extremely rude staff. But the worst thing is the toilets; I don?t mind paying for toilets in car parks, but they?re coin-only, and the cafe won?t give you change unless you buy something. I think this is fundamentally wrong, because it?s forcing you to spend extra money in order to use the loo. Furthermore, out of the four times I?ve used these toilets on various visits, the turnstile hasn?t allowed me to go through on two of them. The toilets are filthy too. What an appalling rip off, made worse by the rude staff members who don?t care.

Popped into the cafe after walking 3 hours to refuel. Ordered 2 cakes, 2 hot drinks and 1 can. My 10 year old daughter just asked for a tap water but the man behind the counter said they don't do tap water, only bottled water. I had a bottle of water in my bag but didn't want to appear rude getting my own drinks out of my bag so I asked if she could just have a tap water and he replied "yes we have a tap but you'll have to have bottled". I didn't buy the bottle, obviously!The sign by the counter stated that they accept card but prefer cash (which I completely understand but we didn't have enough money on us). We got our card out and he then said, "have you got cash as card machine isn't working"? We explained we didn't have enough on us so he got the card machine out which all of a sudden happened to work. Very odd place!Such a shame that we had this negative experience as the area is beautiful but you're definitely being ripped off by being charged to use their toilet and £5 to use the car park. I am all for supporting places like this but this place is the biggest rip off of them all! I was hoping to come back to use their campsite or B&B but I 100% would never return!My children did say their cakes were really nice so I'll end this on a positive note :)

Parked on the road, so we didn't have to whine about the £5 parking fee.We found the staff to be really polite.We only had coffee and cake after the walk. We both opted for pumpkin and ginger. It was absolutely delicious.Rustic cafe, with a Bavarian type feel. The most amazing views of the waterfall too.

Great cakes. Coffee was OK. Lady was friendly and welcoming. Nice break on a wet and wild day. Parking was expensive.
