Whether you go for breakfast, lunch or dinner, this place and their food are delightful. We popped in for lunch, enjoyed it so much that we went back for dinner and got a takeaway for the following day.
Lunchtime, I thoroughly recommend their Indian street food. Delicious!

Had breakfast there and it's good quality and quantity, with good value for money. ( very tasty) They now do Indian food from 4pm till 8pm so went for diner, it was lovely good amounts and very nice quality, excellent change from pub grub when camping.

As a biker (motor not pedal) I am on a mission to find the best cooked breakfast in South Wales. I went up to this cafe on 19/10/24 to see what theirs was like. The cafe isn't very big, but was OK. The walls have dado rail on them meaning that it wasn't possible to sit back, lean on the wall and be comfortable. In fact it was very uncomfortable. The staff were very nice, but I'm afraid that the breakfast was very mediocre. Not that it wasn't edible, but it was very basic with nothing to make it stand out.

Lovely little family run store and cafe, we were made very welcome on our first visit and as both pubs were shut we were welcomed back for a couple of drinks. Food we had was really good too, we returned for Indian food on our trip back and it was delicious. Well worth a stop if you are passing through

What a hidden gem of a café! We received such a warm welcome at this charming canalside spot after a long, tiring day of cruising the canal.
We kicked things off with a refreshing gin and tonic, garnished with fresh mint straight from their garden. For our meal, we both ordered curries, which were delicious and authentic. As a lovely touch, the staff even shared a taster of their own homemade Indian-style rice pudding, which was simply superb.
If you're passing through Talybont, we highly recommend stopping by this wonderful café!

Friendly well-stocked village stores and post office, also cooking really great food - we had the chicken biryani and the chickpea and spinach curry - delicious!

Shop and cafe which does Indian eat in or takeaway... in Talybont. A great place! Tasty food. We stopped for breakfast and had a curry takeout while staying in Talybont. Excellent!

Travelling in a narrow boat all day, once moored, we popped into the Spar shop and bought the most wonderful (cooked on premises) Chicken Biryani and chick pea and spinach madras, quite frankly the tastiest food I have eaten in a very long time . Thank you.

Came by for some grub after a long walk on the canal with family a few days ago and ended up having one of the best curries I?ve ever had! Absolutely fantastic food, superb service and a very friendly welcome! Will be sure to return when next in the area.

What a treat! We were staying nearby and saw they were serving Indian food in the evenings. It was delicious! Really authentic, incredible flavours and super friendly team. We shared a few dishes off the menu and all were great! I'd highly recommend it even if you're staying a bit further away - worth the trip!

Amazing Indian restaurant hidden away by its cafe frontage. Attentive Gujurati owners who worked hard to give us a fantastic evening. One of two Indian meals in the UK I've had which rival the best meals I've eaten in India. Highly recommended. Attached corner shop with surprisingly late closing time for such a tiny village. The daytime cafe looks good though we haven't tried it yet. All round winning combination.

Good shop selling the basics and a lot more. Bought some of the frozen curries and they were absolutely delicious. Imagine the freshly cooked takeaways would be even better. Given that both pubs were closed during our stay, the shop was a lifeline.
