This was our third stay at Nant yr Odyn. Some staff changes but still as warm and friendly as ever. Nice clean rooms. Crisp white table cloths in the dining room. Lovely food and great breakfast. Tea coffee and toast and a good selection of breakfast dishes freshly cooked and served to your table! Love it.

What a fabulous hotel. The warm Welsh welcome was most genuinely felt. The setting on the island of Anglesey with Snowdonia in the distance was magnificent. An ideal stop over to catch the ferry to Ireland this hotel is perfectly situated. Vibrant daffodils, frolicking lambs & native speaking locals give a unique insight into god?s own country. A definite positive for this delightful hotel. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful night.

While it looks rustic and cozy there's no denying this place it still very much stuck in the 80s with it's vibe and getting by on the reputation built by former owners.
Food was a mixed bag, like it had been prepared by 2 different people. Some of it was well plated and tasted good, some of it was literally frozen veg chucked into a serving dish.

Noteworthy details: Tucked away in a country lane off the A55 expressway, was this little gem of a hotel. We stayed 2 nights to take in sights and activities nearby. Recommended.

My family and I all had a wonderful comfortable and relaxing stay at Nant Yr Odyn Country Hotel that is situated in a most convenient and tranquil location on Anglesey. My family and I were grateful for the warm welcome on arrival and also our wonderful warm and very cosy bedrooms with delicious biscuits, hot chocolate, bottled water and excellent coffee and tea making facilities. The rooms were beautifully decorated and furnished with plenty of cupboards for our clothes. All the staff were most friendly, helpful and professional and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious cooked breakfasts, coffee and tea. The chef who works at this hotel is very experienced and talented. I am a vegetarian and I enjoyed your vegetarian bacon very much, please keep this on your menu! It was a memorable and special experience to stay in such a magnificent hotel that has been tastefully converted from an 18th Century farm complex and lovingly decorated and restored. The superb spacious and well-furnished bedrooms were fantastic to relax in after an enjoyable day exploring the local heritage sites. Many enjoyable walks are available locally with wonderful nature reserves and scenery. We highly recommend this outstanding country hotel and we all look forward to returning in the future.

Booked there for a birthday meal in the restaurant.Not as good an experience as have had in past visits there. Service was patchy, and some of the dishes served bore little resemblance to what was described on the menu. One meal was not eaten. Somewhat dissapointing.
