This is a great local builders merchant with an excellent variety of items at competitive prices. If they haven't got what you need, they can get it for you in a few days, no problem. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help.

Before we moved to the area, people said HG were hit and miss with their archive, and pricey. We've found nothing but excellent helpful and courteous staff at Tywyn and Dolgellau, and often cheaper than the bigger businesses I've used down South. Very pleased so far at, and no rain to think other HG branches would be any different!

Huws Gray don?t care about the products they sell and dismissed my complaint without due care and attention. I purchased decorative aggregate a few times but latterly the product arrived with a silty finish and didn?t match the earlier product and no solution was offered apart from me washing the product myself or raking it which hasn?t helped. I now have a garden of patches of differing colours. Please remember Huws Gray don?t care once you have ordered and received your product. Hugely disappointed in the customer care.

Staff in Llangefni Branch bent over backwards to find me 6 sleepers for a raised bed (after Gwalchmai reported they only had 3). Llangefni phoned around branches until the found enough for me - delivered the same day! Superb customer service (as usual)
