Happened upon the Hunters Moon as we were walking a section of Offas Dyke. So glad we did! Lovely, shaded garden area which caught every breeze. Great menu with lots of choice. Tom yum soup was delicious and a very decent chicken burger. Friendly, helpful staff and even a piece of sausage for the dog. Not sure how I feel about the walk back to the car now ?

This was a great place to stay for someone walking the Offa's Dyke Path as its located on the path. The rooms were comfortable and the food in the bar excellent. The beer was well kept serving Wye Valley Brewery Butty Bach. There was a real buzz about the place being very busy with patrons. All the staff were friendly and helpful and Chris the owner served up a hearty breakfast. The Hunters Moon offered excellent value for money and would recommend it.

We walked to the Hunters moon from our accommodation. Lovely walk. Lovely looking pub and perfect pint of Hawkstone Ipa at the end.
Pub light bites were lovely.

I came to the Hunters Moon Inn for a group booking for nine people on a Friday at 2pm.
The only negative of the entire experience was that my booking had not been correctly noted down so the kitchen were not prepared for us. However, the way this was handled is what sets this pub apart. We were met with nothing but kindness and a warm welcome from the wonderful Liddy behind the bar, and the chef did the most incredible feat of serving exactly what we chose from the menu to an incredibly high standard quickly and - above all - tastily!!
I cannot rate this establishment highly enough!
Both inside and outside the setting was as magical as the people.
Thank you!!!

A lovely gem that serves great food and local ales and ciders. We had a fab Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Can?t wait to go back.

Great stop for folk doing the Offa?s Dyke path who are willing to stop short of Pandy. Best decision I ever made. Lovely people, incredible room (#5 in the old post office), big breakfast, pack lunch available for walkers. Exactly what I needed 2 days out from Chepstow. Stay here. You won?t regret it.

Lovely country pub, staying at a cottage few hundred yards from the pub. Only had an evening meal there which was very nice indeed. Friendly staff and lovely ambience.
