I ask the manageress if a clock hanging on the wall worked she said yes with a suspicious tone so I asked her if she had a battery to test she replied I can't go out the back as I am the only one in the shop so I walked along to another charity shop I regularly buy from and they tested it with a new battery it didn't work so I took it back for a refund and the manageress told me as she was refunding me that she worked in the seth thomas factory that made the clocks. How very insulting!!! Basically if it's good and works they sell online and if its broken or cheap they sell in the shop. I put a pound in the donation box she didn't say thanks. I wouldn't employ her in a million years when there is so many people looking for paid employment, she is paid. Learn to engage I got a friendlier reception from the dog outside the shop.
