Just remember that you are a booking a basic room for the price!! So it's with a clean bed and room. Perfect for My stay was for what I paid for and just fab. Excellent service from portaguese hospital host and owner Keith. If you want a quick convenient central hotel booking to Llanelli Station and town, then book 100% xx

Our first impression wasn't good - the area the hotel is in looked very shabby and there were dodgy looking people hanging around the car park. When we went in, it was very dark and not clear where we needed to go to check in. The man who greeted us was very friendly and got us to fill in a form before showing us to our room. The room was small with a horrible smell. There was a sink in the room but the cold tap didn't work. There was a small shower room & toilet which had several holes in the walls and the awful smell was quite overpowering. There was a random bottle of 'something' (no label) in the shower tray and the extract fan was filthy. There was one small window in a door which went out to the fire escape but there was no key so we weren't reassured that someone wouldn't come in. The free WiFi didn't work. We had to find somewhere else to stay and after a lot of chasing we received a full refund.

Room was basic but very comfortable, excellent levels of cleaning throughout, especially with current situation. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Good base between Swansea and Tenby area to see South Wales. My only real complaint would be the shower cubicle in our room was a bit small when you're over 6ft. Beds were extremely comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering location. Would definitely stay again if passing through the area

Had another excellent meal at the Cobana Grill at the Miramar. Never fails. Nice to see a couple of large groups in the restaurant, it's almost a hidden gem buy is well worth checking out. Food freshly prepared and well presented, excellent value, give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Had a lovely meal out in the Miramar. Friendly service and tasty food. Would recommend to anyone. The prices are reasonable especially for the drinks. Food was well cooked, and the chips were lovely and homemade.

Our favourite place for food, so friendly and great value for money. We had curry and scampi, couldn't fault it. Beautiful cosy restaurant, well worth a visit! Perfect for a meal, good choice menu, or just a drink.

Was here in October. Room was good though it could have had a table or a small desk. Shower, water pressure, hot water all good, it could have had a shelf in the shower for your soap as there was no soap provided. I'm not used to going to the loo and then going into the bedroom to wash - the sink was in the room not in the en suite. I found the stairs narrow, not railed properly and rather steep but the landlord took my case upstairs and must have heard me coming down at the end of my stay for he came to help. The general ambiance was weird as I think I was the only guest. The pub - restaurant was always empty and was not very conducive to going in and having a meal or a drink. At times the deserted atmosphere of the hotel reminded of a film noir setting. It seemed to have stopped in a time bubble, there were brochures on theatre in Swansea from years ago... a bit spooky! One great thing was that my room (no 6) overlooked the level crossing just next to the station and was a constant source of wonderment.

I didn't stay there but needed a place to charge my phone and couldn't find anything open in the afternoon (not even a cafe!). I popped in and the fellow working there was very helpful, brewed me a cup of coffee and we had a chat. He told me how to walk to my destination and really helped. Definitely would stay there if I ever go again, the kind of friendly people you want working at a hotel!
