To be honest we went to this place partly because we were so intrigued by the horrific reviews. We thought how bad can it be? And our answer, not bad at all. It is quite expensive but I expect that for homemade quality food and have no problem with that. The staff were friendly and obliging and the friendly lady on the till asked me where I was from, what I was doing that day and gave me some recommendations for visits including beaches. Our experience here was good.

I wouldn?t come back here for food. Had the Sunday Carvery, the food was mediocre, I?d compare it to school canteen food. Very expensive for what it is - small portion of dry meat, signs up and staff strictly policing how much veg you have, one of them snapped at my friend because she took two scoops of cauliflower but she hadn?t bothered to look at her tray and notice she had 2 plates as one was for her partner. If I?m being charged almost £20 for a carvery and a can of pop I?d expect to be able to have more than 3 chunks of carrot and 1 floret of cauliflower. 2 stars rather than one because the food was at least hot and the gravy was tasty.

Great selection of local produce. Meats, cheeses, veg and other Welsh produce. Free parking. On site cafe and toilets. Downside is the high prices. £3 for 0.5kg of potatoes, crazy prices!

Visited a cafe yesterday. And very disappointed with prices. I have travelled a lot and visited many places ,but it's quite shocking to PAY 8,49£ FOR TWO SLICES OF TOSTED BREAD WITH BAKED BEANS ON TOP. Price is unreasonable in this case. Also didn't feel welcomed. Would not recommend this place. Save your money and go somewhere else to have your meal and good time. We met so many nice people in Wales! But apparently not here. We didn't like at all and will never return back here!
