I recently had a fantastic experience with Celtic Couriers. Their service was prompt, and my package arrived in perfect condition. The tracking system was accurate, keeping me informed throughout the entire process. I highly recommend them for reliable and efficient deliveries!

In the past couple of months I have ordered twice from companies who use APC-Overnight for next day deliveries..The first package failed to show up on the allotted delivery day. Called Celtic Couriers the local delivery agent to be informed that apparently APC hadn't delivered the item to their depot. However a couple of calls later to a very helpful member of staff and it eventually turned up 24 hours later. TBy contrast, the second overnight delivery - by APC-Overnight / Celtic Couriers seemingly sped through the system (according to the tracking) and was marked out for delivery the following morning - I even received 2 text messages and 2 emails informing me it was out for delivery... I was impressed. However, just like the last time, nothing turned up (hopes were dashed) so I called; this time, a different member of staff answered and told me it wouldn't be delivered as the driver was running late, so had gone home. Unlike the previous occasion, this staff member really couldn't have cared less, and took pains to point out that overnight delivery wasn't guaranteed (something in the small print), said that I could track the package live with a map! - despite the tracking link saying no such live tracking was available. Pointing this out to the less than helpful employee stuck who insisted it was and it between continually saying "all they could do was apologise" offered to send me a link to the 'tracking website with the map'. Of course, in much the same way as the package - no email ever arrived. So, all I can do now is to wait around another day for an urgently needed item. The take- away here for any business who is using APC-Overnight / Celtic Couriers is that if you need something delivered the next day then you might be better off choosing a different package delivery company. In my experience to date APC / Celtic have a 100% failure rate delivering a small package overnight - even when extra is charged for overnight service. My take-away is that I will now avoid wherever possible buying anything from companies who use APC-Overnight to deliver their goods.

It was imperative that my order arrived on the exact day it was needed. I'd paid extra on top of the 'surcharge' It didn't arrive. The call centre man was indifferent and nonchalant about my complaint. Absolute dire and poor service...they don't care.I

I have used this company for many years to deliver the Welshgreetings cards I produce to retailers throughout Wales. I have never had any issue with non-delivery, the drivers are all very pleasant and helpful, as is the office staff.Update September 2023: It is four years since I originally posted my review, and my experience has remained the same - excellent service, never a missed delivery, nothing lost, and I'm always able to speak with someone helpful. I get offers of cheaper courier services but I wouldn't consider changing - peace of mind is more important than saving a few pounds. I decided to update my original review because of the 1 star reviews recently posted.

What a refreshing change to be able to speak to another human being. Other courier companies should take a leaf out of their book. Just rung the Llanelli depot to query the delivery of my parcel spoke to Jessica what a lovely helping young lady she?s a credit to the company.

I booked with this courier two days ago for collection today. I received two texts saying they'll be collecting between 12pm and 2pm, since then.. NOTHING!I tried contacting the local branch once number their clearly ignoring and the other will not connect. I tried head office I had the same with them.. ignored until they cut me off.If YOU didn't want the job at least man up and tell your customer!NOW I have a customer demanding a £600 refund! seriously not happy, if your a small business.. my advice?Don't bother sending anything with these, Utter joke.

Unfortunately, the comments can't be given 0 star. They sent my package wrongly, and they clicked to deliver it without confirming the consignee, and they won't call or anything to inform you.

I have never experienced such atrocious customer service talk about tell me a story! Three times a parcel was meant to be collected. On the second attempt I was told that the van was on its way as we spoke. On the third attempt yes, it was being collected and yes the driver would text me when it was picked up. No text and parcel not collected. Not one call to tell that there was a problem or a reason other than when I asked I was told that the driver didn't have enough time. Obviously selling out to Owens group was not a good move as the service used to be impeccable previously.

The only delivery company i know that has a collection request form and then completely ignores it. Apparantly, despite the request, the sender requested it went out for delivery again, and apparently they can only leave it in a safe place if the seller requests it. I purchased these items and was the one they were being delivered to so not exactly sure in what world that makes sense.Had ordered from a few other wholesalers at the same time and all the other orders came within 24hrs, delivered on the Saturday and left in a safe place because I work 6 days a week. This is the only courier 'service' whereby I am still waiting for my items after 4 days, having already had to request collection in the first instance. I will be cancelling this order and not using that wholesaler again, purely thanks to the awful service provided here. I will also be refusing to work with any other wholesalers who use Celtic Couriers or APC in the future. It will be an absolute pleasure not to have to deal with these companies again.
