Went as part of a school trip.Pixie train was closed (without telling us) so group got split up.After seeing santa for 30 seconds, we went to get a present, the 'elf' didnt say hello or anything. Just questioned us if we've paid, with a disgusting attitude. Yes. We paid £35 for this!Went to get a coffee, only to hear swearing and shouting once walking in. Only to then have a staff member hush us out of the cafe and said we cant come in until after the train ride. So waited 30 mins in the rain for train. Train was mediocre at best.Got back and went to get coffee. Asked the woman for 2x coffees and she then shouted that shes not telepathic and needs to know how many sugars and milk we want. Other lady asked us if we want a sausage roll or frangipane. Frangipane was out of date/ gone off. Asked to change it to a sausage roll for the lady to then shout "do i look busy!?!" To the 11 odd customers in the cafe.Absolute shambles this place is. Disgusting staff and attitude. Disgusting customer service, rude and loud but they think they're funny.Every single parent was disgraced at this place. The school have chosen to avoid this place for future days out.Just trust us, do not come here. Im in the car writing this now because after working in hospitality for years, i have no idea how this place is still open.

Absolutely great afternoon out with fair prices, friendly volunteers, immersive experiences and plenty to keep the kids busy. A particular mention to Alan who kept our 5 and 3 year olds engaged when showing us around steam engines and carriages under refurbishment in the engine shed. His stories were interesting, his jokes were cheesy and his contribution to our day made it really special. Highly recommend!

Lovely morning out. Staff super friendly and helpful. My son loved the quiz and the prize at the end ?. The pixie line was magical! So much to see. Thank you so much to everyone that runs this place. It's a little gem for kids. ?

What a wonderful welcome by volunteers we had today on our first visit to Teifi Valley Railway. Even in the rain it was great fun. Lots of things for the children to do: covered soft play, out door playground, a hunt around the grounds to answer questions and everyone regardless of right or wrong answers received a "party bag". And all that is besides riding the heritage railways. The work these volunteers have put into this is unbelievable. They are pushing on with opening up more track with all their fundraising and visitors. The heritage railway is wonderful and at the end of the line you get 10 minutes to walk down to view the waterfalls. Lovely even at this low water time. The Pixie Railway is also a real treat. The care a volunteer has taken to arrange all sorts of fairy homes and detailing along the route is incredible. A great treat for adults and children. There is a cafe with all sorts of sandwiches made to order, individual ice creams of every variety, coffees, teas and I think we also spied cakes. And all with such enthusiastic, pleasant and happy volunteers whether rain or shine. We will be returning and recommend to anyone to visit! Their website is set up well with all the information especially directions to the site. We could not say enough wonderful things about Teifi Valley Railway.

Really lovely morning at the railway. The letter hunt kept our preschooler entertained and the prize bag was such a treat! (Really excellent for the price of entry!) All the volunteers are very friendly and knowledgable. A really sweet place to visit if you are in the area.

Amazing little find. Staff are extremely friendly especially the lovely lady in the cafe. Small Outside soft play. Crazy golf. Outside park. Two train rides. Quiz for the children that wins you a goodie bag and drink. Can't believe the price for everything you get. Would definitely recommend this place..

Wonderful day- turned up expecting to be there for a half hour train ride and planning to go elsewhere in the afternoon, but ended up staying all day and the kids loved every second. The volunteers are excellent and very passionate about the railway - there was a trail with an excellent goody bag as a prize, soft play, and park, as well as the main train ride and pixie rail. Very clean toilets and cafe. Excellent day out!
