Disappointing, worst meal in years.. Shame as its a nice place, im local and to be fair it has a great selection of beers.
Told my concerns to the owner/barman as i paid my bill and i felt i was arrogantly fobbed off.
Small portions and expensive. £5.90 a pint
Will not be going back.

We have enjoyed many delicious meals over the years. But this was the first Sunday roast lunch. And haven?t eaten there in a year. If the Sunday roast was anything to go by then the place has gone downhill. Food awful. Tasteless. Service lacking and no atmosphere. It was supposed to be birthday celebration for my mother and it was not enjoyable in any way.

Definitely return as enjoyed the food and liked the setting few minor issues at certain points with service and was very disappointed that the London Essence tonic was from a pump and didn?t taste at all like the real thing which somewhat marred some very good gins.

Fabulous find. Lovely lunch. Super fresh ingredients, delicious dishes and superb service. This establishment is clean, well serviced and serves, splendid food. I will most definitely be returning with friends.

We booked a Sunday lunch party for 8 with a small dog in July 2025. Our whole experience was 100%. The food was absolutely delicious and of Michelin standard, the service was super friendly without being pushy, the decor was beautiful and bathrooms clean. I would totally recommend visiting this venue. Even though we had to travel for an hour we will make this a regular event.

We had an incredible visit, we had 8 people which they made us feel really welcome. We all had the Sunday dinner which was sublime, the beef just fell apart. Our dog also had a wonderful time as they supplied a dog menu too.
Definitely will be coming back, absolute Gem of a place.

Absolutely fantastic place to have an excellent meal or a drink. The bar has a superb range of craft beers to choose from. The food is beautifully presented with top notch ingredients and it is served quickly. The staff are very warm and welcoming and make you feel right at home. There are great seating options inside and out and the Daffodil Inn is super dog friendly.

What an amazing place. We were exploring the area and saw the pin on Google maps for the pub. Dropped in and we're smitten as soon as we stepped in.
Very friendly staff and the choice of food on the menu was very good.
Definetly on our list to revisit and maybe bring a few friends to sample it too.
The atmosphere of the pub feels very upmarket and welcoming at the same time.

Shame there isn't 6 stars! Fabulous place and Sunday Roast was delicious. Mushroom focaccia was so good could have have two.. but needed to make room for beef brisket.. that was melt in the mouth! Wish I could eat there more often but 2.5 miles each way a little too much. But when a local tells you they found the best place to eat.. you need to try it out. Definitely worth a visit. Dog friendly with a separate menu. Wheelchair accessible.

Gorgeous pub, fantastic food, amazing drinks menu, highly recommend! So glad we followed up on a recommendation to come here - highlight of our weekend. Peanut butter on a burger is a revelation (according to my husband) and the bang bang broccoli was to die for!
