What has happened? It’s been a while but the meal and service last year was excellent. Our visit this weekend was such a disappointment. Overpriced and poor quality. The Cottage Loaf is a traditional country pub nestled in the heart of the seaside town of Llandudno. Affectionately known as ‘The Loaf’, it has everything you would expect from a true Welsh pub; open fires, wooden beams, old heavy furniture, colourful gardens, great cask ales and hearty homemade food served by a friendly face.
The bustling bar offers an array of local cask, craft beers and ciders along with a cracking selection of world wines, not to mention some quirky and quality spirits. There is ample seating both indoors and out.
The hearty homemade menu seems to pull folk from near and far…. locally sourced where possible. Wholesome pub classics can be found on the menu mixed with a number of interesting seasonal specials.
