Prior to the recent opening of this store the 'local' Sainsbury's for anyone living in Llandudno was fifteen miles away in Rhyl. As a result when news broke that they were to open a new branch in Llandudno's former Woolworths store this created a bit of a buzz. It's obvious this was never going to be a supermarket, it has no car park and being located in a busy part of town where parking is often difficult to find it was always going to be a place where for the most part you could only ever buy as much as you can comfortably carry. What I didn't quite expect was how small it would be, it appears much smaller than the old Woolies was. Despite the lack of space they do stock a reasonable if limited selection of groceries so in theory you probably could do a full weekly shop here (there are a handful of trolleys available) but you'd need to go a very quiet time to bag a nearby parking space. Personally I'll stick to Tesco.
