Absolutely wonderful service. Very friendly and knowledgeable team and a great selection in stock for all sorts of pets. Plenty of parking right in front and trolleys available (pet food can be heavy...)

While in Llandudno i thought I'd pop in pets at home to see if they had any shrimp in for my tropical tank which I have had for 4 years and they did.On asking for one and giving my details I was told that I am blocked from buying any fish reptiles etc so the assistant rang head office to find out why,All they said that I was blocked with no explanation and that the block would be lifted at 10 am the next day,What a load of rubbish I have never heard of this before and to top it all there was customers in as well l will never set foot in a pets at home store again.

Unfortunately I am at a loss ?. After my experience today My hamster my little baby boy teddy bless him he?s getting on now so by chance I was in pets at home today looking at toys and stuff anyway I looked in the cages at the little baby hamsters just being nosy?? the gentleman came over and moved the bedding gently he was gentle ?. But the poor little guy when the man?s finger was near him was screaming and I mean screaming I looked at him confused and I said ?I?ve never heard a hamster sound like that before ? the laughed it off and said they all do ?..So my question is I know a hamster screaming is a sign of fear and distress?1. Is there a way I can report the neglect and mistreatment?And2. What if some poor child is bought this hamster ?. It?s not friendly because it?s been mistreated?I left feeling so sick I just thought omg the poor baby
