I went in to transfer a some money to a charitable organisation, but the staff were convinced that I was the victim of fraud, despite all the information tallying and my giving a complete explanation of the process. Absolutely no convincing them, I had to wait in a back room for ages as if I'd committed a crime, then they refused. I couldn't help feeling there was some age discrimination - I'm over 60. Will now send a cheque instead.
