Three out of four alloy wheels were scratched when I had 4 tyres replaced. The marks are in exactly the same place on every spoke on each wheel and I can only assume they were scratched by the fitting machine or stacked on top of one another.UPDATE:Thanks Ruth for the response below. I've contacted the garage directly and they are happy to take a look at the wheels to see if we can identify what's happened and find a good resolution. Will post a further update in due course.UPDATE 2:Took the car back to Halfords. They accepted responsibility for the scratches straight away and organised to have the wheels repaired. Shame it happened, but impressed with the way they've handled it.

Took my car in for an MOT few months back , was immediately uncomfortable with how I was spoken to by one of the staff . He told me i smelt nice, Kept calling me ?sweetie? & ?love?.When i picked up my car the same member of staff asked if i wanted the advisories written down to show my dad or boyfriend so they can explain it to me ?Gave them a second chance today with servicing my car - again disappointed .Was spoken to like i was a child when dropping my car off at 8:30am . I made sure to have my phone on loud & handy all day ready for a phone call however by 3pm had heard nothing . I called for an update & was very rudely told they had tried calling me earlier for consent on some work & it was too late to do it now as I hadn?t answered . Staff member argued with me that they had tried to contact me however I had received nothing all day . Was bluntly told to collect my car & when I did nothing was explained & I was just given the bill. When i asked about one of the advisories I was told ?they?ve already told you what it is?.I will not be returning again for further car maintenance & will make sure to NOT recommend to any friends or family .

I had an MOT done by Halfords as my usual garage was fully booked.I was informed that my car had failed on 4 major faults and needed 7 advisories that, if I didn?t get them done now, would need to be done urgently in the next few months and so it would be cheaper to get all the work done now. I was quoted over £1,000 for the full works.What is surprised is that the tyres, are on the 50% of life used, on the ones I changed 6 months ago, and the one I changed two weeks ago is on the 75% USE LIFE!!Thereafter, I will take my car to my usual garage, where they look after the costumer and our safety!NEVER AGAIN

Went to buy a number plate still waiting two weeks later.Also bought some electrical fittings,spades etc and when I asked a member of staff for the opposite connection,as in male and female he said we have not got them. So when I asked why not he replied "the System" says we don't need them so we cannot order them eventhough we have no stock ???.sounds like A.I is taking over and humans are not listened to.Halfords you must listen to shop floor staff or you will loose buisness.

Found myself in need of an urgent MOT on my RRS whilst travelling around Wales mainly due to a misunderstanding of what I had left on my MOT after changing my car last Sept 22. Having had a major device one week ago at my JLR dealer they didn?t highlight MOT was due the following week or would have had it done there .. After realising we Booked online 23-8 for AM on 24-8. Arrived and waited whilst the guys sorted out the MOT fab service and pleased to say I would recommend this garage

Simple job but they ordered wrong parts. Had to show them a photo of the part. They did the job and told me I'd have to pay cash coz computer was off line. I only had a card with me. Then the computer worked. They brought the car out and gave it back. My locking cap nut was hanging of the wheel. When I got home found where they had the hatch back open the plastic clip was on the back seat. Will never use Halford again.
