Oh dear what a disappointment, we often go to Llandudno and go to this Chippy.
Normally the fish & chips are superb. However Saturday 9 August the quality was very disappointing. £12 for both you would expect decent size and quality. Unfortunately neither, poor portion size and fish was average. Hardly any flavour. Shame the price and quality was a major let down.
Such a shame.

I have lived all over the country and had fish and chips all over, including Rick Steins place, the one in Benllech (which is meant to be the best in Wales) but this is one of THE BEST chippys I have ever been to. It's so unassuming from the outside and a but off the beaten track, and isn't just the best in Llandudno, it's the best - by far.
We had chips & gravy, chicken nuggets (6) and chips, battered sausage and chips and cod and chips. It was all lovely, and after my 14 year old finished off hers, she proceeded to drink the gravy out of the tub. The fish (which i thought was a good portion) was doubled up as he thought they were a bit small - so he gave me an extra fish. All in was £28 and they gave some lollies to my girls.
I don't really like batter that much as it is often a bit greasy, but this wasn't the case at all - it was light, well cooked and tasty. The cod inside was perfect with big flakes of fish inside, and was clearly fresh, not frozen. The chips were perfect. Literally perfect. I would love to have shared some photos, but the food didn't last long enough lol.
The staff were lovely, and were patient with my indecisive family.
I would more than happily go out of my way and get this lovely food than go to a closer chippy and food establishment on the high street.
Support independent, not chain places as otherwise we will lose great little places like these.

I had cod and chips with mushy peas and gravy - coming from Grimsby I'm quite picky when it comes to fish and chips, but this was possibly the best fish and chips I've ever had. The chips were perfect and crisp, the fish was delicious, and I highly recommend.

Dont look at the negativity on here this place is amazing, friendly staff and the seafood basket was mouthwatering and delicious, chips were perfect in our opinion, yes we will be returning again. Best chish n fips shop in landudno!

Fish & chips was good , mushy peas were also ok but it was expensive in my opinion, Cod is an expensive fish yes , but £65 for 5 × large fish and chips was I think a bit steep , 5 × sugar free pepsi cans for £8 was also a bit naughty me think .

Best cod and chips I have had for years! Tasty, crispy batter and a good portion of chips! loved the curry sauce too. Only downside for me is that I live in South Wales, damn!

Called in with my lad for dinner and so glad we did. Lovely chatting to Ben while he made our enormous cod, chips and home made mushy peas that we had long been craving since arriving from Australia.

Called in to chish and fips Craig y Don Wednesday evening (14th may) while out on the motorbike,had a large chish and fips !!!!!.Really pleasant staff nice conversation about life in general and mentioned that if I'm ever working on Llandudno it?s my chippy of choice.
We were on our way up to the Great Orme to watch the sunset and enjoy our takeout tea -the sunset didn?t disappoint and neither did our food 12/10?

Popped in this at 12 today with the Mrs as we were child free for the day and up the coast. Amazing service, friendly and funny staff and the food is unreal! Will definitely visit again when in the area!
