Sadly this place is no where near how it used to be. We had friends over from America and we wanted to share a British beach weekend and fush and chips by the sea was to be an important part of the day. Chips were fairly tasteless, fish were overcooked and dripping in fat and the oil they'd been cooked in certainly needed changing. Really disappointed as previous visits were super (clearly a change in ownership)

Since the original owner sold the business this place has gone downhill. The quality has gone. Woody chips with black bits in. Fish has gone small and greasy. I can't see this place lasting much longer the way it is unless something changes. I do not recommend.

The chips were rock solid and clearly leftovers from earlier in the day. The pie was microwaved to death so had gone all soggy. Very poor

My dad just go food from here and the fish wow tasted under cooked and the batter wasn't even cooked fully not offen a complain about food but that wasnt good, I won't be back ?

Would have been 5 stars but the food did not arrive at the same time which meant two of my family had finished eating before some had been served. The fish and chips though is excellent and we will return as we have been for many years to come.

£21 for cold and soggy fish& chips (ripoff)
Food was stone cold
Chips was soggy
Gravy was cold and like jelly
The fish was dripping in grease leaving a foul taste in my mouth
What happened to the harbour view you used to be really nice and the food was always amazing but you have gone down hill

Called in at around 13:00 today. I was the only person waiting, and a couple of other guys came in behind me. So there was no rush or pressure on the staff. I ordered 2 cods and a large chips separately. Very expensive.
The chips were all flacid looking, soggy and very greasy. The fish had very little taste and was very greasy.
I will try this shop once more to see if they act on this message. If they don't they have lost a customer for life.
