Amazing play to stay, great rooms clean and spotless, really sympathetic decor .food really nice and tasty , good portions . Breakfast , good quality Highly recommend staying , will defiantly book again so much more personal than the chain hotels staff /chef really helpful and accommodating

We visited for Sunday lunch. When we arrived, the service was slow and one of the waitresses was very rude. We waited 30 minutes for our plates of meat to arrive then additionally another 5 minutes for the vegetables. When the meat arrived both girls did not know whether it was beef or lamb, just taking a guess. The meat was very dry, each person was very disappointed. We heard great things about this place however a big let down.

What a great find. Lovely place to stay and relax with fantastic service from the owners and the staff. Even smoked bacon in the breakfast ? ?. And a lovely pint of Butty Bach ??. Thank you for your hospitality ?

Had a fantastic Christmas dinner here over the festive period.The menu was excellent and great value for money and the food fresh and tasty.We will be returning as we just had such a lovely time

Stopped overnight here on our trip home through Wales. Brilliant place. Great service and food was excellent. They even had bingo laid on if we wanted to join in. Comfortable well appointed rooms. Dined in for the evening meal which was great. Breakfast was also fantastic too, with great choices available. Thanks to all.

I have been The bell a few times for meals and we always have good service but especially really nice food.
This is from when the previous owners had it and the current ones. The menu is limited however it really works and the quality is really good the past 12 months we have only been twice however there has not been any niggles with any of the groups meal.
My in laws requested if they could have Stilton sauce for their steak. No problem at all and they said how nice it was also.
It really is the little things like being able to cater for people even if it's not on the menu.
I'm always nervous of booking in a local venue as sometimes it can be hit and miss with meals in my experience, however this is now by far my go too if we want a nice meal out for a special occasion.

Visited a few times now, the Sunday dinner is exceptional, on my last visit i had lamb which was cooked to perfection. Great choice of vegetables. The desserts are to die for. The staff ate friendly, attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
We will be back soon.

Pre booking and pre ordering of meals didnt stop it taking an hour and a half to get starters on the table for a group of us, food was poorly cooked too including being unable to microwave garlic bread as it was still frozen in the middle when put to the table. Staff, particular the cook pretty unsympathetic and reduced our bills by 20%
No excuses as there were not a lot of people in the place either, perhaps that should have been our first indicator of things to come, or rather not to come!
Food & drinks: Not good, not well cooked or presented.

We stayed here for one night as we were in the area house hunting. The room was great and the bed was firm, the shower was excellent. We had an evening meal here and it was freshly cooked and tasty, in the morning we had an excellent breakfast which had been included in the room price. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

My husband and I have just enjoyed a 5 night break at the Bell Country Inn.The owners Steve & Kay were most welcoming and very friendly as were the staff and we were impressed overall.Rooms: Our bedroom was well appointed, tastefully decorated and very clean.Nearby activities: A great location for visiting attractions in Llandrindod Wells...The Radnorshire Museum and the National Cycling Museum .Also a few miles away was the Red Kite Feeding centre at Rhayader and the Elan Valley. Wonderful scenery.Food & drinks: The food was excellent .Very tasty cooked Breakfasts with plenty of choice.The evening meals were delicious and good value .The dining room was very pleasant .
