Small but cute, very friendly staff, nice local collection with plenty of information about Llandrindod and Radnorshire. A couple of strange collections with seemingly no connection to the local area but great range of history with fossils, Roman era, to Victorian.

The Radnorshire Museum is all about the history of the county of Radnorshire. We have everything from ancient fossils right up to the present day, with a fine art collection too. Come and explore the collections and displays - there's something for everyone! Whether you like Prehistory, the Romans, the Medieval battles of the Welsh Borders, the rise of the spa towns and Victorian pomp, it's all here. Where else can you get close to a Sheela-na-gig and a thousand-year old boat in the same room? This is our local history and it's anything but dull!
