I was staying for one night in Llandovery, had a look at where to eat and this place had good reviews. Went in, ordered a pint and tried to order food but was told the kitchen was closing early because it was quiet. There were a few people in the pub, also several people dining, some food was being brought to diners after I was told kitchen was closed. The time was 8pm, their website says food is served until 9pm. Either amend your website, or do what you say you do...

Had a lovely night here in Llandovery at the castle hotel . Stayed here many times and always have a warm welcome . Food was excellent as always . Our room had a four poster bed which was so comfortable . Breakfast had a a great choice to choose from , something for everyone . Well worth a stay if you get the chance .

Stayed here last Sunday night, perhaps they should rename the Hotel to ?the cant be arsed hotel?
Mattress in room 6 needs throwing out, you sink to the base of the bed, its a very thin spring mattress.
Breakfast, my friend asked for scrambled egg which was clearly written down, he received a fried egg, we believe he got what was left
We came down for breakfast at 8:50, apparently service stopped at 9:30, at 9:35 I went to get another coffee to be told I could now only have instant coffee. Finally when the breakfast arrived and we asked about knives and forks we were told to go and get them from the adjacent room
Hotel says it 4 star, no way!!!!

Lovely Hotel in middle of Llandovery
We only called in for food and found it great and staff very good
Nice inside with old hotel which has kept its character with separate rooms
Good menu and reasonabley priced

Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location centre of town. Very easy to go around. Free parking for hotel guests . Third time we have stayed will definitely come back

Called in for lunch today and found staff to be very ignorant ordered food and drinks at the bar and then ower food arrived and we asked for more drinks and were told he would be back in a minute as he was serving food but never returned with are drinks and we went to the bar to pay for our lunch and drink but even a sorry for not returning with drinks very poor service ill never go there again

The rooms are spacious with beautifully designed interiors and a generously sized bathroom. Booking through Booking.com included a dinner discount. Free parking is available, including one EV charging point. Truly enjoyed the stay!
