I arrived late on Sunday afternoon with my two teen children - starving from a three hour trip. It was 2 mins to 3pm when the kitchen was going to close but the ladies at this cafe did not let us know, they served us like we were the first to arrive that day. Fabulous food and great service - all smiling. We left with an extra cake or two.. just as we parted through general conversation, one of the ladies said it had been the fullest day they had ever had for a while, which makes this place even more special, as we really were served well. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for all that you do. As a regular traveller to Ffald y Brenin, it is always a treat to come and visit you!

Great little place. Super friendly staff and brilliant home cooked food (I had fish,chips and mushy peas) at a reasonable price. Far better experience than eating at a chain type place. Weather was nice so we sat in one of the outside booths. My two friends are vegan and they enjoyed the vegan mains and deserts that were on offer .

A quick pitstop for tea & cakes. I had the ginger loaf and it was particularly delicious! Proper pot of tea too. Booked to go back in a few days for afternoon tea!
