Excellent! Welcoming hosts & nothing too much trouble. Food & service were amazing! Huge selection on the menu, large portions, excellent value for money, very friendly and welcoming staff, just loved everything about our experience here. We loved it so much, we came back again and it was just as good!! Highly recommend this place, especially the home cooked food.

Warm welcome in this proper nice old village pub. We went for Sunday Roast and it became a real highlight. Barman couldn't do enough for us, food was superb, great veg and tender meat.

The best homemade roast we've ever had! A lovely 700 year old pub with so much character. The land lady kept the kitchen open for us so we could have a Sunday roast and it did not disappoint. She even told us about the history of the pub which was fascinating!

The food took over an hour and a half to come and when it came it was very bland and could tell it had been reheated. People that ordered a dish including bacon for packet ham. Really disappointing and will never go again.
