The room was HOT, even with a fan. Duvet was too and heavy for summer. But the worst thing was the noise. Droning all night from the refrigerator compressor outside the window resulting in fitful passages of sleep. The windows are level with the floor, due to the rooms being in the loft space, so no air circulated. Getting past the end of the bed was extremely difficult, especially in the dark, due to the tv being on the almost above the end of the bed.
However, the staff did all they could and provided an excellent breakfast.
We have been promised a partial refund which unfortunately did not make up for the lack of sleep.
Would not stay again.

We were staying locally & read the overall great reviews so decided to eat here.
Their website clearly states they serve food until 8.30.
We arrived before 8pm& asked for a table ,to be told the kitchen was now closed which was disappointing.
It wasn't busy at all but the gentleman we spoke to seemed pretty disinterested so we left& shan't return.

Can?t recommend The Wolf Castle Inn enough, wow and well done ? Staff soooo lovely, helpful and attentive. Room clean, cosy, shower amazing, everything you need and spacious. Pub ambience lovely but not noisy .. food spot on! Breakfast and dinner perfect! Need to return soon. Special thanks to Richard/ Seb and team, so kind.. will be back!! ??

Review of The Wolfe Inn, Wolfscastle
Check-in was a breeze. A young lady showed me to my room, explained the layout of the place and gave clear timings for meals ? friendly, polite, and professional. She was also the one who checked me out the next morning, and I just want to give her a nod for being a credit to the place. Spot-on service.
The room looked freshly finished to a high standard with a modern feel. Carpet was thick, soft, and felt brand new. The bed? Absolutely massive and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and fitted with a powerful rainfall shower ? no lukewarm drizzle here, just proper hot water and pressure. Nice touch with the motion-sensor night light too, no need to flick on the main light for a midnight loo trip.
The bar area was lovely (though I didn?t drink as I was staying for work) and the dining area was spotless. I had the Welsh faggots with mash, minted peas, crispy onions, and gravy ? beautifully presented and tasted spot on. 5/5. Topped it off with some ice cream for dessert.
TV worked fine, and I had a great night?s sleep thanks to the comfy bed and a quiet room. Used the fan provided and slept like a log.
Check-out was easy peasy, no fuss at all. Honestly, I?d go back in a heartbeat. This time my manager actually booked me somewhere I?d pay for myself ? even if I wasn?t working.

We were staying at the hotel of a similar name up the hill and had had an awful experience with the food so wandered down to the Wolfe inn. Wow! Your food is delicious!
I?m vegetarian and the veggie options were lovely, my food, the veggie bolognaise was delicious! My husband and friend had the faggots and are both still talking about them!
Your desserts are devine! Service was great, atmosphere lovely and dog friendly! We would definitely eat there again.

Just called whilst staying at Hillfort Campsite, Checked Google for Good places to eat nearby, passed by a day or so earlier on the way to Solva, great looking inn from the outside, Friendly inside 30c today so sat outside ( with dog)
Ordered the 10z gammon steak for myself and wife , one of if not the best gammon I've had.
Worth a visit for a bite or a cold glass of Hawkstone lager or both
Thanks guys will hopefully return before end of holiday.

Went here for lunch with my parents, it was truly outstanding. The meal was so well cooked and presented we could have stayed for another one. 1st rate experience, stunning food, clean, great decor and good wine. Thank you. I will be back

We visited the Wolf Inn this evening for a meal. The service was excellent and very friendly. The food was outstanding. Quite probably the best sirloin and ribeye steaks we have had in a restaurant. Perfectly cooked, flavoursome steak. We would most definitely recommend the Wolf Inn.

Stayed at the wolf inn pub for a wedding at the wolf castle hotel.
It was the best decision and best choice we could have made. The staff were so polite and friendly, they welcomed us professionally but also made us feel so welcome.
Nothing was to much trouble and understood food allergies.
The food is amazing fresh and well cooked
Recognition must go to the chef, you are brilliant.
