Strolled down into Kilgetty to find a breakfast this morning and stumbled across this beautiful restaurant. Gavin found me and my brother a seat , and within 10 minutes we were served with a fantastic cappuccino and a proper full cooked breakfast. All the produce is sourced by themselves, and the black pudding, bacon and sausage were to die for. Special shout out to the black pudding as I?ve never tasted one as good.
Popping back down in a bit to pick some fish and meats up for beach BBQ later as they?ve got a huge selecrion, couldn?t recommend this place enough.
Praying they?re still open tomorrow for the bank holiday as I?m already craving another breakfast

What a gem of a place in Kilgetty!
A butchers a fishmongers and a restaurant to boot! Follow on Facebook for your morning updates on what's in stock. I'm 100% it'll get your taste buds tingling and juices flowing! If you can get there, You'll have 100% attention to your shopping needs and recommendations too.. Fantastic array of foods to buy, but if you fancy those being cooked for you.. settle down in the cosy restaurant. Booking advised. We had a sharing platter and some rib eye steak.. with a lobster on the side. Great wines and selection of beer/ales. Well done Gav-la x we'll be back! Jo and James Goodwick.

Ambience was great, staff were smiley and attentive. We shared the surf and turf platter with chips. The platter looked underwhelming for the price and did not deliver what some of the other reviews have said. The fish of the day was dry and tasteless even with the sauce, steak average, chips underdone, prawns and lobster were fine. Have enjoyed better platters cheaper at other restaurants nearby.

We visited on a Sunday without booking and were accommodated. We didn't quite have the appetite of the sharing platter as every one else and regret not ordering it, it looked amazing. We did have the hake and the scampi which was very good. We visited the following day to buy some seafood to cook at home. The selection was great, fresh and reasonably priced. We loved our visit here and would recommend to any one in the area.

Visited Rib and Oyster to purchase oysters. Excellent price and quality. They also have a great selection of meat and other produce. Looking forward to visiting the restaurant too!

Wow!! We've had the most amazing evening! If you want a evening down the beach with the most incredible seafood look no further Rib and Oyster have you covered! We called earlier today to book a takeaway seafood platter plus extras and then headed just 5 mins down the road to the beach to eat ? all the food was hot, beautifully cooked and the whole takeaway experience was just lovely! Especially if you have kids like ours that can't sit still in a restaurant! ? Thankyou so much!! We will definitely be doing this again! Delicious ?

The quality of the food here is outstanding. The restaurant is small and at the back of the shop. The service was great. It's not the cheapest but certainly not too expensive when compared with other restaurants around the area. I've paid similar prices for food that is nowhere near as good as it is here. It's well worth it I would go back when visiting west wales again 100%

Found this place on Maps. Didn't expect this level of food in a small town in West Wales. We came in without a reservation and they found a seat for us. It was busy and get they were super helpful.
I wasn't sure what to expect, and they surpassed every expectation. I ordered the hake and chips with crusty bread. My friend ordered the half lobster. Both meals were incredible. So fresh and some of the best fish I have tasted in a long time. It is pricey, but it's worth it.
I would highly recommend this place.
Only issue we had was with the final bill. But it was explained that they had a computer issue and it was resolved quickly.
The staff are just the best. So friendly and attentive.

I suffered from gluten contamination after eating here and my husband was served a burger that was almost raw in the middle. When he complained he was told ?that?s how it?s served?.
I am gluten intolerant, my husband is not. I came away with a very bad belly which was caused by what I can only assume is poor food handling and cross contamination.
This place claims to be ?gluten free? friendly but I became so unwell I had to see the dr.
Dr advised me to let the food and hygiene department know so I have done that.
Very rude staff / owners who have argued with me about this which I think is very unprofessional. The fact is, after I ate at your restaurant I had food poisoning.
IN REPLY TO THE NASTY STUPID OWNER?. I did NOT have the burger!!! My husband did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you not read or something? I am coeliac, my husband isn?t. I had fish and chips and told the server I was coeliac and was assured it was safe to eat as your batter was gluten free!
Have you suffered from gluten poisoning? It?s a lot worse than you know, it?s life threatening which is why people need to know!

absolutely amazing restaurant, have no complaints, food was absolutely fantastic, i had the 10oz sirloin and it was cooked to perfection; the sauce was the best sauce i'd had with a steak. my parents had the surf sharing platter and everything was absolutely amazing, the owner was so welcoming and kind, they're dog friendly and checked how our food was and always made sure we were okay for drinks, the staff were absolutely lovely, so kind and welcoming. 100% will be coming back and recommend to everyone to come and try

Hands down our favourite restaurant EVER!
The love and care that goes into preparing this food is second to none. Gav and his team have found the secret formula for outstanding service and phenomenal food.
If you are anywhere even remotely near, just go! You will not be disappointed.

John dory cooked on the bone, the best sirloin ive ever eaten, sauces you could swim in they are so good...I dont have enough words to express how right this place gets it!
