The worse experience I?ve had all year. I went in yesterday evening (22/08/25) (unknown to me around close time) and was greeted by a lovey lady. She said she?d check what was available. She was then ignored 3 times by her colleague stood right next to her and then when she asked again a man spoke very sarcastically to her about the chips. I felt terrible for the member of staff and to see how she was treated in front of customers made me question what she has to put up with when the doors are closed. If the owner was there yesterday and was one of the people serving sort your attitude out. You owe your staff respect. If it was just staff members and the owner is reading this, Sort your staff out. Most awkward encounter and atmosphere caused while trying to just give the buisness money and have dinner after a busy day. Really was disappointed and walked out after this. I don?t ever leave reviews but this needed to be said. Wouldn?t recommend going here unless you fancy watching staff treat other staff with blatant disrespect.

Based on the reviews on Google we were really looking forward to fish, chips and mushy peas on our last night. We love fish and chips, we have them at least once every holiday ( and we have a lot of holidays). We both came to the conclusion that these were probably the worst we have tried.
The chips were anaemic looking and totally tasteless. The fish batter looked good on the outside but inside it was soggy and undercooked. This may explain why the fish was also tasteless. The mushy peas included hard, square lumps... we have no idea what they were. One star for the amount of chips and the size of the fish; the price was less than £15. The staff were very pleasant on a busy Saturday evening, but the food was horrible. Most of it went in the bin.

Amazing fish and chips, light batter on the white flaky fish with a more than generous portion of both fish and chips. Can't wait to return.

Seen this fish and chip shop reviews which was great so decided to give it a visit so glad I did the fish and chips were the best I have had in years, staff were very friendly would highly recommend this fish and chip shop.
