Absolutely fabulous pub, I am so impressed.
Friendly staff and management, terrific real ale selection - clearly a good reason that they have won CAMRA awards.
The menu looks terrific and we will definitely return for food.

Been recommended to visit this place and we were not disappointed. The pub is stunning inside and we had such a beautiful Sunday lunch. Highly recommend and only 1 minute off the A55

Expensive drinks, ordered a pint and a double rum and small bottle of coke, £17!!! When asked to break the prices down, £4 for the small bottle of coke and over £6 for the pint!!! Will never go back there even if I'm dying of thirst

Really disappointed, had a meal with friends recently and was very disappointed.
We've been here 3 or 4 times since the pub reopened, even bought Christmas vouchers for family.
I don't know what has changed here, new chef and manger perhaps?
Starters below par, my Garlic and Chilli prawns lacked flavour and presentation was poor, price at £10 this should be much better.
Went for the half chicken as a main, definitely shop bought Coleslaw with a few chopped chives on top!!! a small corn on the cob and a had full of chips which lacked the Rosemary sea salt as advertised, and the chicken was so bland no flavour what so ever, for £23.50 this was very disappointing, should be priced a lot less.
All in all very disappointing with the quality, something has definitely changed here in the last 8 months this is obvious.
May be some time before I return.
Change is needed.

Great food, polite attentive service, cosy and very pleasant interior (outside looks good too but we didn?t have the weather!) ? and very fairly priced. Thoroughly recommended!

Stunning meal here tonight. Such a great vibe for a Wednesday evening . The lady who served us was fantastic, clearly made for the role. I wish I?d gotten her name! She told us all about the events you host and the Saturday strolls. We?ll definitely be back to enjoy more of what our local has to offer.

Booked a table for a family of five The food was outstanding everyone enjoyed their meal. The lady that served us was very polite and warming
My children gave a well deserved tip.
I would definitely come back again I would highly recommend the fish It was very fresh and tasty.The chicken and burgers.were also lovely

Lovely service, don't have high chairs but they have some seating suitable to sit at the table which they offered us straight away. Food was delicious and very quick.

Lovely decor, good service but my burger was ok, but not for £19.50, no dressing or salad just a small portion of frozen thin chips (they didn't cover the pattern on the plate) and the burger, more like a Wetherspoon meal for half the price
